2020 TRX Build Tracker

Hell Tesla takes the cake announcing cars and taking like 3 years to come out with it. The big 3 need to catch up with the European brands like Audi for example where you can track your build thru an app
FCA would have to actually start production before we even could track it if they had an app.......Anyone hear or see any evidence that they have started production trucks yet

I ordered mine about a month ago. I've been concerned my dealer didn't actually have any allocations because I still don't have a VIN a month later. But browsing this site seems like a lot of folks are in the same spot. I’ve asked dealer multiple times for an update and they can’t provide one. Also did the FCA online chat, they were even less helpful. If FCA would just give a date even if a long way out that would be something. But I also agree with others in that of FCA is taking the time to work out bugs in trucks I’m fine with that. I just wish these car companies wouldn’t announce these cool vehicles so long before We can actually get one! (Bronco!)
I knew my dealer only had allocation for 1 and mine is second in line.
That 1st one they had already sold did go to D status.
Mine and one other TRX that are sold orders which my dealer placed in the system, are both stuck at BG.
They tell me they expect it to get allocated and picked up next month.
Then again that is what they told me last month. LOL

All very frustrating to place and order day one of the order bank opening and to get hung up with all this allocation BS. You would think people placing a deposit and a sold order in their system would get some sort of priority of some mega size dealers stock unit.

Just wondering if people are updating the tracker - a bunch of builds/deliveries including LEs scheduled for next week, for example? Of course, I am guessing we can start a new thread for people who receive their truck. At this point, seems like any information we are getting outside of physical delivery is either wrong or subject to change.

My 10/26 date (for LE VIN 0073) is likely wrong. Production for consumer trucks has not begun. All surmise but I have heard they are having a problem gathering parts (carbon fiber and bead lock wheels). Maybe November things will move (“We said Q4”).
There were pictures last week with TRX's outside the Mopar shop with beadlocks. Even if they have problems with beadlocks or carbon, there are are at least 40 builds in the tracker without those options that could be built. The colors that haven't been in photos since the 12th at the factory is Hydro and Anvil.

I am one of those who kept it simple. I hope that they can squeeze me in there early!

I filled out the form sometime last week, wondering if this is still being updated or if I did it wrong. Not that I have anything to report...just sayin.

It took a week or so for mine to show up. No worries.

Got another update today from the dealership. Said it is ow scheduled to ship one week later on the 26th now. ?it is in D1 status. I do have the carbon fiber option.
Hey, good for you!

According to my dealer I'm in C status.. my dealer only give me updates when I threatened to take my deposit back. I've yelled at my sale guy and 2 mangers. So since they act like this is normal and want to treat customers like this, to show my gratitude they are getting brownies with exlase ???

The dealers are somewhat at the mercy of FCA.

Correct. I work at a harley dealership, I will call customers even if there isn't an update. I have yet to have a angry customer bc they are called once a week and they appreciate it, they don't need the bike they want it, thats how I'm looking at it. I love my Rebel and I dont neeeeddd this truck but I really want it

Yes and no.... as Jessica says she treats her customers the right way with the service they deserve. FCA doesn’t and can’t dictate how their dealers treat their customers... my dealer has been very willing to communicate with me and have been very good at doing so even if I might be bothering them(A lot ) All dealers should do the same....just my lowly opinion... Cheers

I wish my dealer would just send a text or e-mail at least once a week as a curtesy, even if there is no status change. The last information I received from him on 10-2-20 was "I will send you a status update the day it changes, I look almost everyday." I don't like feeling like I am hassling him because I know that can be a pain in the butt, so I don't. I'm somewhat patient and know that he's appreciates that. I know new launches can get confusing and the information being given out is incorrect. I had one order that the update was " Hey man, your truck's here". If that happens this year or next year, I'm cool with that.

But once a in a while update would at least let me know they are still around and I've not been forgotten. ;)

Totally agree with you, my dealership in Colorado has been absolutely amazing! I think they even have on their calendar now an event expecting my daily call for status updates... :)

Oh no. Mine has carbon fiber...but I wasnt expecting mine any time soon, so that is ok. It seems like any time I order something with a carbon fiber package it delays it because of some global carbon fiber shortage. We need more people manufacturing carbon fiber, or we need these supercars to stop using carbon fiber chassis and body panels for a while so we can get our trucks.

This is where the dealers are falling short. Why not reach out to us, if we have the CF package, and ask if we would like to remove that option to get the truck sooner. We/I get better customer service at Chik-fil-A.

I agree. I also would not like to remove the CF package, because it looks badass and I can wait a couple weeks or decades or whatever to have a badass truck. I am sure that it likely has to do with all of the supply chain issues that everyone is having at the moment. Hopefully they get it cleared up soon.

Still doesn't make sense for the vehicles that don't have either option and not go into D1 to trucks out

Oh, for sure. These issues are present in all sorts of industries. I'm not arguing that at all. Only griping about the lack of communication from FCA and my/our dealerships and the piss poor customer service. "No one really knows" is not acceptable when spending nearly $100k on any product.
