Tonneau Covers?

Yep, I haven’t looked but my correct RAM 2500 has 2 hidden boxes under the rear floor mat. Hope it has that!
I have a recovery bag full of stuff I throw in when I’m off roaming and I have 4 boats so my receiver stays on full time.
I’d love to have the box for miscellaneous tools though but my true need has become less and less over the years.
Good luck!
Bill
It has the storage cubby in the back floor. I’m looking at getting a metal locking lid for them.

I’m one of those guys that likes to have tow straps, jumper cables, some oil, some coolant, basic tool box, and the like in the truck “just in case”. I’m getting old 🙄

"retrax Pro XR tonneau cover" - does @Johnny@JustBoltOns have this one? Don't have my truck quite yet, but thinking about future options I might want to do...
He does, ordered mine from him. plan to install next week after the bedliner is sprayed in. He offers a discount as well.

I am old!!!

Tuft makes the metal lid.
Someone posted that it’s easy to get in from below but I haven’t looked Uber to see.

We do, filling a few pre-orders right now but should have more readily available later next week. You are welcome to order at any point, I would recommend during this month to ensure you get the $100 rebate on top of the RAMTRX coupon code.

Is there any problem installing tonneaus covers with the factory Bed Utility group? I keep reading that black rails don't allow a tonneau to be installed and you need silver rails. What rails come from the factory for those of you that have already received your truck and have the BUG?
I have the factory bed utility option and the Retrax Pro XR fit perfectly.

ordered my Retrax Today. Just nothing better for my needs

Johnny,
Thank you very much for getting me Pace Edwards Matte Black UltraGroove Electric Metal Tonneau. It works and looks good. Highly recommended.

Finally got the tonneau cover installed and the Yakima racks. One issue I had on the retrax pro was the back clamps that hold it to the inside of the bed. The clamps were hitting an indent and would not seat all the way to the top. So I put them in front of the plastic spacers. And made up a couple of 15/16 x 2x 1 blocks that slid up between the cover and bed frame. Then tightened them up for a solid support. Attached a few pics. Time for a beer

Looks great! I just installed mine yesterday. Fits perfectly. Thanks @Johnny@JustBoltOns !!

After trying to get a cap somewhere near me for a reasonable cost, I decided to go with a cover. Being that my bed is used for some recovery equipment and the difference between a cap I liked and the Gator cover was like three grand I finally went with a gator and will spend the cash on other mods

Same issue I had - the good topper caps seem to be long back ordered.

Can you use the digital mirror at all, or is that out of the question with this setup? The mirror seems ideal as a solution to having stuff on your rack or having a camper shell, but need a way to relocate the camera to the back.

I went cheap. Had one before and liked it. Gator SFX.

I don't have my truck yet to look at the bed but was reading the installation instructions on the Retrax Pro. Where is everyone running the drain lines?

inside the tie-down, there’s a hole just big enough to squeeze the tube in and direct downward. Bambi might be able to give you some visuals...

I had the weathertech on my ‘19 Raptor. It was great. Super easy install and very easy to remove when you don’t need it. Plus backed by their awesome warranty. I would have done again for TRX but need the Retrax for the rack system I’m doing
Thanks for the info. Just ordered one directly from WeatherTech online.
