Finally someone that has this cover!!!! 1. love the look. 2. love the price even more.

Question.... because of how this retracts (folding down each panel), have you had any issues to where if something is stowed (or rolls) in the middle/front of the bed you can't retract it all the way because the item is blocking the fold? And then you would have to army crawl underneath the cover to get the item un-wedged...

The way the video shows the retractable feature, it seems like you would lose a lot of bed space - due to needing to push the panel down.
I had the Peragon cover on my Raptor for years and it was a great cover! Good company to work with and they even sent me a whole new cover when I bent it (completely my fault for desert running with a tool box that came lose in bed).
There were a few times when a load shifted to rear of bed that interfered with cover opening but the cover would still slide open a few inches to allow load to be adjusted and then allow cover to open. The area that the rail/slide needs to fold cover is only maybe 18"x18" so things will still fit. Picture is on their website of cover open for reference.
I really liked that with cover over, it didn't block rear window and it popped in and out easily to load motorcycles or anything you needed full bed for.

Why not I’d do the same if I had one. This is my first ever pick-up so it’s all new to me. I had originally ordered the Dualliner but once they told me it was going to be on back order for a month I cancelled it, drove to my local ram dealer and pick up the drop in. I’d still like the dual liner at some point.

I know this is somewhat an old thread, but is there any flip bed covers that can be easily removed when needed? I found one by Extang, but do not make it for 5’7 beds..just wondering if any of you guys have something similar to what I’m looking for..

I have Peragon covers which accordion down but come out pretty easy and not too heavy.

My old Bakflip MX4 just had two hand screws that you needed to remove to take it fully out. On the new truck I am debating X4S this time.

Why debating?🤔

I just finished putting the Back revolver on. As says earlier 2 hand screws on each side and you can take it off. You don't lose very much room with it rolled up though

I have the extang. Simple. Cheap. Easily removable. Not secure.

I literally just came in from installing the Extang Trifecta ALX. Had a similar model on my last truck: lasted forever, was very water tight (one of the things that scared me away from the more expensive options here), and could be removed in about a minute without any hardware left behind.

Also, it didn’t eat up any bed space (it even gave you another inch or two of bed height)

Not “secure”, but out of sight, out of mind I suppose.

I strongly considered the hard covers here: Lomax, Sentry and Retrax being the top of my list: but ultimately decided if somebody wanted into any of them, they can get in (so I took the Jeep mentality here; let them in and minimize damage)

Mainly because I am old school and don't think I'll be using that digital rear mirror and with the MX4 you lose that. I also like the lower profile look of the X4S and I think it might be better at keeping water out than the MX4 by its design.

I debated on a Bakflip MX4 or Undercover Ultraflex for my TRX. Ultimately I decided on the Ultraflex and I really liked it. Excellent fit and looks better than my new MX4 on my 2500. I went with the MX4 on my 2500 because it had smaller folding panels and didn’t block the rear view camera when folded up on the larger bed truck of the 2500. Not an issue with the Ultraflex with the smaller bed of the TRX.

Sentry CT, BAK MX4 / Undercover similar options / Access Lomax, Extang Trifecta or other soft folds are my recommendation for easy removal. I run the Sentry CT on mine and love it.

I have all of the above in-stock and they are on-sale for over 10% off until end of the month. Code: BDAY23
