Tonneau Covers?

I"m putting on a Backflip MX4 I pulled off of my 2018 Raptor. Trying to save a little money.

I have the exact one on my Raptor that will be traded once the TRX comes in. Are you sure it fits? I’ll obviously do the same to save a $1000

I have had 2 Bak Revolver X4, really like the low profile and ease of use.

I have had 3 different Retrax on 3 different trucks and they all leaked, there are no drain tubes the water drains from the tracks. They do have great customer service and will help out as much as they possibly can. I have a Truck cover USA (American Roll Cover) and it has drain tubes in all four corners and the bed stays 100% dry, the canister is also the smallest you will find which gives you more bed space than the others. I just took a side grinder to my Ram bar to re-install my cover and it works.

I just fabricated my Truck cover use retractable to fit with my Ram bar.

I put the Rough Country hard low profile bed cover on. Not a bad option for $750.

Looks good!! It really is a great cover. Even with the Northern Freeze last Christmas, I was able to defrost it quickly and open it without any jamming issues.

I just installed the BAK Revolver X4s and really like it. My previous Power Wagon had the stock folding soft (trifold) cover and I was always taking it off to haul stuff in the bed. This X4s had already been easier to roll up and out of the way. If you need to remove it, there are 4 little knobs you can unscrew by hand. I like that it looks like a vinyl soft cover, but is reinforced with aluminum slats.

Is this pretty secure when closed? Came across a killer deal on one just can’t seem to see how it locks

@Rico392, yes this seems pretty secure to me. This cover is super handy as I haul stuff in the bed a lot and it's super easy to roll up from either side. Closes nicely and keeps most of the water out - not 100% water tight, but good enough for me.

@Rico392, unless you use a pry bar or something to break into it, you can't open it without the tailgate down. Since the tailgate locks when the truck is locked, is about as secure as the cab is. If someone wants to break into your bed cover (or your cab), they will find a way for sure.

Aside from a diamondback, I don’t think any cover is 100% secure.

Sure, the hard covers are secure from knives, but I don’t see any withstanding a crowbar attack.

Just put the Diamondback HD model on mine last night. Looks great and now I can put stuff in the bed without worrying it's going to get stolen.

My BAK X4S is already showing signs of fade (6 months in)… any recommendations on a product to bring out the black? Thoughts on using black trim/plastic restorer on it?

Yes, I love it. Need to put the sealing strip on front of the bed. Got dark last night before I could get that part done.
