I installed the v2023.09 update this morning without any issues. I formatted my 32GB flash drive to FAT32 before installing the files. It took 32 minutes from start to finish.

Hey, did you unzip the file before putting it on your USB stick? I can't put the zip file on a FAT32 stick, and I believe it's because there's a 4GB limit on that format. So I assume the files have to be unzipped first. Correct?

Yeah, I didn't have any problems unzipping them. They are still sitting in my recycle bin and the biggest file is 3.99GB.

10-4, thanks. For some reason, I thought I remembered reading that the new updates didn't have to be unzipped first. Apparently I'm losing my mind.

I find it a hassle to download and press the button lol instead of just updating on the truck without the USB .

Well technically that's not true. They could be OTA updates, and you could receive a $10 deposit in your bank account.

Or…They could be $100 like HERE charges for UC4 map updates, then wait for them to mail a usb stick. I think TomTom has released twice as many updates for UC5 in 3 years as HERE released for the entire existence of UC4/RA3 radios.

Yep. I've installed 3 UC5 map updates in 7 months. I think I had 2 OTA map updates for my UC4 radio in 2 years.

Mine must have got an OTA radio update in the past week or so without me noticing as my USB music is now mysteriously fixed and no longer reverts back to halfway through the same song everytime I start the truck.

It now picks up exactly where it left off when I turned off the truck and random shuffle remains enabled.
