TomTom Map Updates for Uconnect 5

This is why. The TomTom map updates are for UC5 on 2022+ Rams. Yours is a 2021 with UC4- different maps.

Shoot, ok, are there any updates for my '21 with the UC4?

I drive down the interstate and there are issues with my map as the roads have been updated and my map is not showing them correctly?

Last I checked, one-time update for the UC4 maps cost $150, and are typically a year or so behind. So if you bought them today, they're probably going to be Q3/Q4 2022 maps.

They occasionally run a sale on them so the cost is $100. That doesn't include tax or shipping.

For everyone with UC5, I downloaded these latest files and updated both my truck and my father's 2022 Ram 1500 Limited while he was visiting this weekend. Worked both times perfectly, no issues.

Downloaded the map update , its 4 files only version 11 and when i insert it in the usb the nav ask if i want to do the update and then goes to update progress but gets back to "your usb map files has been modified eject usb and and insert it to your computer to download maps" or something like that , anybody had this?

map updates for UC5 are downloaded (for free) from the stellantis site - link provided above your post. But the page is messed up right now, not allowing maps to be downloaded for Ram trucks.

I pay for the TomTom navigation subscription on my 22, and the update happened automatically OTA.

What format are you using on the flash drive?

I downloaded the map update , put it on a 64GB flash drive formatted for NTFS. Worked no issues took about 40 minutes. Make sure the files are on the driver within NO folders, the files need to be on the root of the drive

I installed the v2023.09 update this morning without any issues. I formatted my 32GB flash drive to FAT32 before installing the files. It took 32 minutes from start to finish.
