Still the wrong ones .... Follow that radiused bar up near the red circle and you should find it.One more time please. Red or blue? Thanks
Ok. Thanks again.Still the wrong ones .... Follow that radiused bar up near the red circle and you should find it.
Also, mine are right above the hood release cable. It literally gets in the way when I'm plugging/unplugging. That might help too.Ok. Thanks again.
Thanks. I’m running out of plugsAlso, mine are right above the hood release cable. It literally gets in the way when I'm plugging/unplugging. That might help too.
Definitely not the Tazer. Pretty sure they all have that delay when going into reverse.I've noticed, when I put the truck in reverse from park, it holds in place until push the gas. It's weird I have to mash the gas for the brakes to release. I dont know if that's apart of the brake hold option in Taser.
I believe that is the parking brake holding and releasing with the gas......normal if you have it set to come on automaticallyI've noticed, when I put the truck in reverse from park, it holds in place until push the gas. Ok, got the information from ZAutomotive. It is definitely the brake hold feature (BMW technology that was added in the last update). You should be able to turn this off in Live Features which will make it normal again. For what it worth, I tried full reboots and it didn’t change anything. The description of brake hold from the JL manual https://www.zautomotive.com/zpu/instructions/TazerJLMiniUserGuide1127.pdf
is as follows:
• Brake Hold (excl. 4XE): enable/disable the brake hold feature, which will automatically hold your brakes after pressing brake firmly for 2 seconds
under these circumstances:
• not in a menu
• at a full stop
• your seatbelt is on • in drive
And on the following forum link, they mention those two lights will come on when brake hold is activated https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/issues-with-tazer-mini-on-gladiator.75279/
Sorry you had it, but I'm so glad it isn't just me. Honestly it freaks me out a bit that this think can mess with the brakes like this ...Beyond pissed. Haven't had a single issue with this thing. Last night updated to newest firmware. This morning reinstalled and married. Noticed right away my fogs would not work, no matter how I toggled the settings. Messaged Boosted. Immediate and knowledgeable response as always. Suggested I perform a fresh install. Was snowing here, so I put it off till tomorrow. Had to pick my gf up at airport tonight. Thank God I am always early for most things. When I went to leave my house I now have this flashing brake lights thing going on when I shift into Drive. Unmarried. Uninstalled. Going back to previous FW tonight. If that doesn't work flawlessly, I am smashing this thing. I have a video of the error. Can iPhone videos play here? I'll try to upload in a second.
I am stumped on this one as well. Best if you reach out to ZAutomotive and talk to their tech support. They will get it sorted out.Beyond pissed. Haven't had a single issue with this thing. Let me know if this works.

I am running the latest firmware and don't have any issues. I would try turning off the brake hold in Live Features first. If all else fails, I will email you the firmware I loaded when I shipped it to you. It isn't available for download and you have to do a manual update.Do you think it would just be better to use the old version (the one you sent it with) while they get this sorted out?
Mine is a 22. This is a feature of the latest firmware. It isn't clear to me if the feature is not working properly or if its just a wonky option that should have been disabled by default. So, is there an issue here in general, or just for 2021? I have a 22 and a Tazer I bought a couple of weeks ago from @Boosted. I just want the amber lights and auto fold mirrors. I certainly don't want to see brake issues or anything of that nature. Thanks!
Thanks! Ok, I think I'll wait to do anything with the Tazer.Mine is a 22. This is a feature of the latest firmware. It isn't clear to me if the feature is not working properly or if its just a wonky option that should have been disabled by default.
Whats the point of that option?Mine is a 22. This is a feature of the latest firmware. It isn't clear to me if the feature is not working properly or if its just a wonky option that should have been disabled by default.
No issue in general. There are a few that have had issues for various reasons that we are working through. There's way more users that haven't had any issues. So, is there an issue here in general, or just for 2021? I have a 22 and a Tazer I bought a couple of weeks ago from @Boosted.
