Tazer DT BCM programmer UPDATE: IT WORKS!

I could be wrong! My truck isn't here for me to check......but typically the stuff that the Tazer cares for are BCM controlled "stuff".

Have you tried the ZFlash on a TRX?

Whats.....weird, the parking lights are not flashing. Headlights go from DRL to turn, but the sidemarker (tied to parking) and rear parking lights in the tails are on the entire time.

Interesting for sure. Again, just guessing based on what I know of the product and the circuit diagrams - if it flashes them, that would be great too.

I turned the Halos off, changed the DRL location to "Turn," then just went to the normal setting screen in the Uconnect system and turned DRL on (I had turned them off prior to getting the Tazer).

You saved me...I almost threw it in the trash. I had forgotten that I had turned halo off. Couldn’t figure out why the drl wouldn’t change to amber.

Who was it that wanted Amber colored Halos? Well, in the DT programmer, you can change the location of the DRLs. I changed it to the turn signal and tada! I have Amber halos.

Does it stay on when the headlights turn on?
Mine Tazer has a power off icon on the center of my cluster :/

It does turn off the chimes for both front seats. It might be worth a try on the 19 GC. It only takes a few seconds.

Just so you all know. You can disable the seat belt minder with all of our trucks. I do this on every truck I buy. Manufacture allows this to be disabled. But there is a warning in there for this as well for Liability reasons. It’s the same as the Ram 1500. There is a YouTube video “2021 Ram seatbelt chime disable”. FREE, and takes about 1 minute to do this for each of the front seats.

I lost my display in the instrument cluster, GPS is showing wrong speed limits on routes, 360 camera is not functioning properly and other things as well. I am in the process of removing it for now. Is it possible that I installed it incorrectly? Anyone else experiencing issues? Should I remove it and return it and forget about it? Any help is appreciated.

It sounds like you may have enabled the wrong features that aren’t necessarily compatible with our trucks. I had a similar issue. Unmarry and see if these issues go away, you may need to disconnect the battery for 15 minutes. No worries, you didn’t mess up your awesome truck.

I would unmarry it and start again. Make sure it’s updated on your computer…..

My GPS speed limits have been laughably wrong since well before the Tazer. 55 in a 15 MPH park road is the worst I’ve seen but I simply don’t even pay attention to them anymore.

It pulls the speed limit from the navigation software. If you are on a new road or in an area with several roads, you will see these problems.

Anyone got a picture of the SGW that they’re unplugging and plugging into the Tazer? Left and up of the OBD is what I am thinking but this is my replacement that I got and is also not working so I must be doing something wrong.

yes most recent software runs hood scoop and clearance lights by default. also, the drl stays orange even when headlights are on, nice mean touch imo

this unfinished toy drives me crazy all day! While trying new features with the latest firmware, I was able to switch the SPLASH screen ... and I shouldn't have done that. Since then, I have nothing on the middle display except time and mileage. All other icons and pointers disappeared from there. I've tried everything possible, even reset it and nothing ... you really can't test the functionality of things before you release it publicly ?!

Same thing happened to me last year…had to take it to the dealer and have them reflash it…and then I NEVER touched the splash screen option again. Remember you can screw your truck up real fast with this thing. I don’t make any changes unless I can verify somewhere else that it works. But when it does work, it is pretty cool. Good luck.
