I disabled mine in my 2019 ram limited. Theres a video on the 5th Gen Ram forum on how to do it. No Tazer required.

Its the video posted above. Follow the steps, it works.

Thanks. When I’m scouting I’m driving on mountain fire trails at 5mph getting out every few minutes. The ding makes me insane

You can disable the seat belt dinger manual. I’ve already shut mine off. Put the truck into run mode click in and out three times. There is some utube vids on it to show exactly how to.

It doesn't affect warranty. If you need to bring it into the shop, you can "Unmarry" it from the vehicle and it's like you never had it in.

Anyone tried this out on a TRX yet? It says 2019+ Ram 1500, but the TRX has a lot of other features that aren’t on the other Ram 1500’s. I don’t want to interfere with those in any way. The main reason I was looking at it was to be able to turn my factory halos off while driving. I got the demon eyes installed and the halos tend to drown them out a bit. There are also some other cool features like auto folding mirrors with ignition, tire size changes, rearcam in signal and some others. If anyone else has tried it, let me know. Or I may have to be the ginea pig for this.

I see you can kill the vehicle in motion lockout on the screen. Can you also then stream video from your phone to the screen or do you still need something like Naviks?

I just installed yesterday and it seems to work. Features I'm using:

• Disable Halos. Works. Wanted to disable to let the demon eyes shine.
• Mirror auto fold: I like this feature, especially since I have the tow mirrors and they stick out a little more than the standard ones.
• TurnCAM. This one I have to get a little more info on. When I hit the blinker, my FRONT camera goes on along with the 360 camera. I'd rather have the split screen mirror cams that I could activate in my 2500. I'll have to play a bit with it.
• Disable fog dropout. Now when high beams turn on, fog lights stay on.
• Disable seatbelt chime. @Bambi This one's for you!

These features I probably won't use regularly, but I checked them out:

• Set Tire Size: I was interested to see how this works, as the TRX has bigger tires than the other ram 1500's. However, when I went into change the size, the current size read 35.03, so it looks like it is reading it from the computer on the truck. I'll play with this more if/when I put 37's on.
• Windows from Key Fob: To lower windows, you hit unlock 5 times and the windows go down. Lock 5 times and they go up. At first I thought the function wasn't working, because I hit it 5 times fast and nothing happened. Well, If you go too fast, the truck can't keep up, so you kind of have to hit it about once a second, and it works.
• Light Show: Haven't done any custom setups, but tried the ones already programmed. I used the key fob, and as with the window feature, you have to wait a second between pushes of the button. Unlock-Unlock-Lock-Unlock activates and Unlock changes light shows. Lock stops the show.

These are really the only features I dug into, as it was late last night by the time I was able to get it installed. Easy install, though. If you guys want me to check on any other features, let me know, and I'll check it out.

Who was it that wanted Amber colored Halos? Well, in the DT programmer, you can change the location of the DRLs. I changed it to the turn signal and tada! I have Amber halos.

What are your setttings other than daytime running light location being turn signal? DRL USA or Canadian or off? Halos on? DRL drop out? Couldn’t get mine to work playing with the tazer dt.

You can do that without a Tazer. Mine is disabled.
