START OF 2024 PRODUCTION

"Stopped making them", or "haven't made a single one yet". You decide.
  • Level 2: 843
  • Level 1: 116
  • Base: 0
  • Total: 959
what about 2023 model year? if you look through histoic status updates from TripleB. Randomly they went from making a few bases everyday to no bases for months and not a single one

the base model was never a very popular option.

yeah but could it really be a coincidence that they went from making 3-5 bases a day for the entire model year and then in the middle of may they suddenly stopped making a single level 1 truck or single base truck the same exact day? it just seems odd in my opinon.

I'm not taking a stance, although it certainly looks like they aren't making them anymore. They've been on the decline since 2021. Base TRX's have represented the following percentages of total TRX production as follows:
  • 2021: 4.34%
  • 2022: 3.69% (a 15% reduction from 2021)
  • 2023: 2.09% (a 43% reduction from 2022)
  • 2024: 0.00% (a 100% reduction from 2023)

That looks like to me
2021: Budget prices, budget builds
2022: "Lets try to get a little more profit per build..."
2023: "Damn, they still putting in orders..."
2024: "F it, MAX PROFIT. And thrown $10,000 with it for dessert."

1 more Canadian truck with a Window Sticker, still no US trucks yet.

What happened to the trucks that were built a couple weeks ago? One of our inside guys said they were built and immediately removed from the factory, put on a truck and taken to Detroit? Could these be the hybrids? Could these had the Hurricane X in them?

Just learned that my 2024 (originally ordered in the 2023 batch on February 9th that was converted) is D1 and due to be built on D1. Is there an updated tracker? I'm only seeing 2023...

I think this shows the places or companies that bought them to review or long term testers. TFL had a red one that was as base as could be. I saw a few other reviews that were just the base models. I imagine the reviews got a few people wanting one without the price of the options. I looked into how to add the adaptive cruise to one that didn't have it and it was a few hundred bucks in parts and the factory option was $1k, granted other things were added in that option but just an example.

As hard as it was to stomach buying a nearly 6 figure (non diesel) truck, I feel better and better about my decision to order a 2023 from Granger every day! And after driving the Rex, I don't miss my diesel at all. That said, I haven't pulled with it yet, but I proably won't spend a ton of time doing so, so I'm glad I didn't get too hung up on that.
Hi Gents,
I just received an email from Ram and as you can see I'm receiving a 24 in place of my 23 that I order back in Feb, The dealer is still telling me there will be no price increase. Who knows for sure until the deal is done right. I'm still a little skeptical 🫤 🤷.

Found 736 Window Stickers tonight, 1 of them was a TRX (to Canada). None of them were forum members.

First member found showing a 2024 converted order, starting production. Hopefully get a build sheet soon!

How can you tell that a 23 order was converted to 24? The vin is the same?

My 23 converted order was scheduled today for 10/4/23! So wondering if I need to resubmit my information where I can receive your updates :)

No, VIN has to be changed since the VIN indicates year as well.

Honestly didn't realize it was possible until about 15 mins ago. Publicly your order doesn't show to have a 2024 VIN yet. Has your dealer provided you with a new VIN?

I got a VIN assigned when I went D1 August 30, had been TBD until then. Still TBD on delivery date.

(y) yours is one of 14 2023 to 2024 I have found now. I am updating everyone's registration and moving them to 2024 now so no need to re-register

Good to know! Haven’t received my 2024 vin yet. Just was told today from Granger that my build/ship date is 10/4/23. Ram corporate also confirmed such via email. So I imagine we should be getting them soon.

I appreciate all your hard work!
