S&B Cold Air Intake Ram TRX

Looking to order an intake today. I have followed the intake section and conversations for months. Anyone recommend somewhere to purchase one of the best priced units ASAP? I was really leaning towards the S&B but I’d take an AFE if it were cheaper and in stock.
S&B website lists the oiled one “in stock”, dry backordered. I know someone ordered from that site a few days ago and it shipped right away.

SWEET!!!! I appreciate that info as well. Looks like I have a few options. Will definitely call and get one tomorrow from one of those guys that have one in stock. I love when I have Truck Part Money lol!!!

Here is the trim I used to keep from scratching the S&B. Funny as it may sound not all trim is the same. Some has metal inserts, some have adhesive, some will not flex etc... I got this trim from Amazon based on a recommendation from a friend who uses it all the time, It's very flexible and worked perfect.

Any chance you can send a link to what you purchased?

Can you post up a pic of the amount of material you trimmed off? As well as a pic of your setup from the rear of the engine bay looking towards the airbox?

This came out great. The S&B is miles ahead of BWoody in fit n finish and installation instructions. Thanks HeliPilot for the idea to trim the factory plastic. View attachment 54929
Well now I regret tossing my radiator cover in the trash after my install knowing I’d never put it back on. Guess it’s time to try to find that part number and see what a new one costs. Remind me the part with the t-Rex eating the Raptor was part of the rest of the radiator cover wasn’t it? So it’s all one big piece as I recall.

Thanks man. I used an electric dremel. I also trimmed it out on that edge so it didn't scratch the S&B. I'm going to post a few pics soon as I get back home.
Would love to see pictures on the modification. Thanks

Looks great! Does the factory shroud snap back into place with the S&B radiator cover?

Just to add to the stock cover trimming part of this thread I think I found the OEM part number for the Easter egg rad cover. I'm going to get a spare one to keep with my factory air box just incase.
