If you build it, they will come. And they will have valid credit cards.

Greeting to ALL.

Browsing through the forum postings, I noticed quite a few choices on the brake upgrades are presented but in particular the following two threads got my attention.
Based on our expertise and resources, we can offer quite a few options but to start with, we believe an affordable 2pc stock replacement rotor kit can fit most members' budget while the CCB system kit is the ultimate brake upgrade option for some others.

We suspect TRX might have some similarities to TrackHawk and/Hellcat brakes if so once OE components are received next week the brake design can be confirmed you can expect to see a series of brake offers with shipment to follow.

Meantime please feel free to address your concerns, wishes and I look forward to hearing from you.

If you want to stand out from the competition; make your kit fit under 17” wheels. People have been begging for this.

By reading all the posts I felt most members agreed and had the concern of "not quite sufficient" stock brakes, while having an "anxiety" of learning what they should do or the peer pressure from others already upgraded "I got to do something" but not quite sure what direction to take.

So I think an open discussion (No sales pitch) is beneficial to the forum members so you can have a better understanding on your brakes which can help you make a more sensible decision at your own path.

Rest be assured OE brakes must have provided basic requirement to stop your TRX, so no worries, no pressure, no anxiety.

Brakes are a weak point on these trucks it seems
Based our broader experience on various makes and models - A vehicle like TRX 7,000+ lbs (loaded), 702 HP the wheel s/b 19" for a 390mm rotor.

If your plan is to offer a kit that requires 19 inch wheels, then I would not bother. There are plenty of existing options from reputable and well-known brands that do the same thing. What people really want around here is something that performs better than stock and at least maintains the 18 inch wheel but preferably allows us to run a 17 inch wheel. That is what the off-road community uses as a standard wheel size

Going to 17 gets you tires with crap speed rating. Not what most TRX owners want.

17" fans are loyal to their cause but the broadest appeal is for OEM 18" wheels with brakes that won't fade after driving like an idiot for a few minutes. We want a whole kit, including fluid and everything an installer needs to make a meaningful difference in high speed braking performance. Going to 19" again gives crap speed ratings and causes us to waste money on wheels that could otherwise go into the Brake companies pocket. 18" kit is the ticket to my AMEX number and to your TRX sponsorship success.

wheels are cheap compared to tires these days for most of your cast or roto-cast wheels, fuel, KMC, black rhino, (most of them all come from the same distributor anyway). I do agree though that having a brake setup that works for the off-road focused community is a plus, but also those of us that go don't mind getting a slightly larger diameter wheel, so we don't have to spend an absurd amount of $$ on adequate brake setup is also highly desired.

i think those that really want to stay 18 or even go 17, don't realize that a crazy brake setup isn't that big of deal, but if it is and you are mobbin' down the baja coast, to get a adequate brake setup in that smaller 17" form factor shit aint going to be cheep! So complaining about having to get larger diameter wheels, is the least of your concerns.

All that said, it is quite a fail on mopar to not even have a fixed caliper, with at least 4 pistons, in current form. I know I hate it as I am on my 3rd set of pads, and 2nd set of rotors at 55k miles.

Raptor R tires are rated for 114 mph. That's pretty solid. And their tires are light as hell.

Here is our Raptor/F150 brake offer:
Raptor-R would be very comparable for TRX.

Although we can (330mm caliper kit) but we normally do not offer a brake setup that is smaller than stock size rotor and/or wheel, unless a dealer can order from us as a custom kit and re-distribute from there.
Makes sense. There are several vendors on here that would be willing I think. Would there be a minimum order requirement to make a custom size?

If the Raptor setup fits a 17" and doesn't have braking issues, the TRX shouldn't have issues either.

Not sure about Raptor's stock wheel size, but the rotors are 350mm (vs. 330mm for 17" wheels).
Front kit can be made to fit 17" but need to verify if the same 17" can fit the stock rear brake w/o issue as altering the rear rotor size will be a major challenge due to the ePB.
Min. 10 kits required.
