Anyone know the igla website? I see 2 similar, but different companies. Want to be sure.
If it works don’t fix it.Get the IGLA. Ravelco is cave man times.
Something something NASA something something pen something Russians something pencil...If it works don’t fix it.
Joe, it’s time for your nap.Something something NASA something something pen something Russians something pencil...
I figured everyone would know the old (probably made-up) quote: "NASA spent millions of dollars and thousands of man-hours developing a pen that would write in the micro-gravity environment of space. The Russians just used a pencil".Joe, it’s time for your nap.
It does work but that button is atrocious. I love knowing igla is nowhere in sightIf it works don’t fix it.
It says in all the videos and product description that it does not require cutting any factory wires????IGLA requires splicing into factory wiring as well. at least, that is what I was informed
The IGLA merely “taps” into the existing wires. This is to communicate and get power from the car. There isn’t splicing like a standard relay kill switch setup or Ravelco. It says in all the videos and product description that it does not require cutting any factory wires????

can you share the shop name you found in stuart? also the amount of time they require for the install?
I have had IGLA installed for almost two months now and have only used the phone app to "unlock" the system. I have only had one issue starting with the app and that was when I was on a phone call getting into my pick up, outside of that it has worked every time. I have also tested the system and it will not start without the phone inside the cabin of the pickup unless the windows are down and it still had to be at the outside mirror to be close enough to let it start. My experience has been great thus far! No complaints at all. The only issue that I am having at the moment, which it really isn't that much of an issue as it pertains to their app and NOT the system itself is that, they mentioned they're experiencing some functionality bugs with their iOS app (Author Alarm). For now, I am using the very slim key fob. Technically, I can still use my phone via bluetooth to operate the system but from my understanding, the app would help disconnect it faster from the car with the disable/enable feature in the app. Other then that, it totally works! My truck will not turn over without the pin or signal from the fob/phone.
As far as cutting any wires, yes, wires will need to be cut in order to install this system. It's not as invasive as the Ravelco but wires will still need to cut.
No regrets so far.
