DEAL PRICE PROTECTED - KOONS 10K OFF MSRP OR 11% Below MSRP - NO DEPOSIT REQUIRED!!

ppl that are getting back their 1k are ppl that have buyer remorse . 1k is worth nothing nowdays and it goes towards your truck anyway.
Koons doesnt care either and buyers just bailing out is wishful thinking.
Lol no buyers remorse and it was $2k. Gladly show you my truck when it arrives.

Is this still going on? I’m hoping to put an order in tomorrow but am not sure of the details beside emailing the pdf.

Thinking of gettn 392 wrangler from them. Easy experience so far

FYI, there is a $1000 deposit required now, which in grand scheme of things isn't a HUGE deal, but different than what is advertised. They said it was a special that only ran for a certain time, for the life of me I never saw that in their original post or any of the posts after. Definatley not good business practice and would make me leary of dealing with them for anything.

Yea they hit me with it out of nowhere on a Hellcat order.

Y'all lucky I paid 3k down so it's basically you securing the vehicle

From the majority of what I have read/heard is that this place can be a PITA to deal with. I told them (Craig and Erica) about how they never put it anywhere on this forum or other forums about the $1,000 deposit and they said they would. . . . still waiting for them to update it.

I don't see what the big deal is over a $1,000 deposit if you fully plan to follow through on your order committment. It secures your order, offers price protection should there be an increase, and it goes toward your final payment. They aren't in the business of screwing people over. If they were they wouldn't be the high volume dealer that they are and wouldn't keep offering these great deals.

The deposit itself is not a big deal however not making it known that there is a deposit is what we are discussing.

Their post says, no deposit required, they offer price protection, etc. Again, no problem with $1000 deposit, just that they say they are doing deal without it and then when you contact them they want a deposit. Why not just say that up front. Also, when I was emailing with them, they said the no deposit was a "special" only for the period between 2/14 to 3/14, BUT they posted last Friday (18th) on Jeep 392 Forums that there is NO deposit required. Just seems really strange to me. Stories don't add up.

We will also NOT require a deposit on orders starting today 2/12/22 moving forward.
ALL ORDERS ARE 100% PRICE PROTECTED!!

Their post still states "no deposit". It needs to be changed.

I agree that $1,000 is a reasonable deposit. But, stating "no deposit" and then telling you there is $1,000 deposit when you place the order is bit deceptive.

Maybe it's a miscommunication amongst the team? Or people have been bailing on orders? Or maybe the GM is changing the requirements?

Agree they should change it if that's the case, or immediately tell you when you reach out that the program has been revised, but I still wouldn't find it "shady".

I purchased out of state from Koons and found them to be very straight shooters and easy to deal with. I have seen a couple people complain that they felt they were treated coldly, but that is subjective. The majority of the experiences I have read about (and my own) have been very positive and they did what they said they were going to do.

At the end of the day, this is just a communication issue with the dealer. It happens. As many have stated $1000 isn’t that much. Threw $1000 down to reserve a Rivian truck. Anyways, I’m still deciding between the Level 1 and Level 2 package. Level 1 is less than a Raptor, Level 2 is just a little higher. Of course, I can’t find a Raptor anywhere without a $10k markup.

Does anyone know if the $1000 deposit is refundable? I haven‘t reached out to them on that yet.
