DEAL PRICE PROTECTED - KOONS 10K OFF MSRP OR 11% Below MSRP - NO DEPOSIT REQUIRED!!

I got all the trailer mirrors and reverse trailer thing. I’m pretty sure I will never pull anything. Other than a hamstring or two trying to get in and out of the trx. 😂
My friend ordered from a Dallas dealership in December and got it mid March.
In the mean time I got a high mileage TRX to drive while I wait for my build. I’m buying a lot of the bolt on mods. So I won’t get bored.
Haha, the only reason I didn't get the reverse trailer steering (I usually get most options unless I have a specific reason not to) is because it takes up two AUX switch spots, and I actually do use 5/6 AUX switches in my Raptor. Congrats on the new order!

BTW, at someone's prompting either in this thread or another thread, I just used RamChat to get my VIN.

If a price protected order in D status doesn’t get built before the 2023 roll out, and the vin gets rolled to a 23, is the new truck still price protected? Or are we looking at a markup since it’s the last year for the hellcats?
I don't think the 2022 VIN will work on a 2023 model. There are safeguards built into the VIN to keep counterfeit VINs from being created. The 10th digit of your VIN represents the year. 2022 is "N", 2023 will be "P". If you change any number/letter in the VIN it will throw off the check digit. So if you have a 2022, that gets rolled to 2023 it will be assigned a new VIN. I believe if you have a VIN, it will get built eventually. I may be wrong if anybody with inside information please weigh in.

I doubt that I’ll add much aux stuff. Maybe the oracle light bar on the front bumper. I don’t have plans to take it off roading. Just want it to go faster and stop faster.
I wish we could slip someone at SHAP a $100 bill and they put all forum member builds first priority. Lol

Has anyone taken delivery yet? Just curious..

I’ve been trying to get into a Gen3 Raptor but these Ford dealers have markups that border on the absurd. A Koons TRX is getting harder for me to ignore. But there are a few things I’d like to know from @Koons_of_Tysons_Corner

1. After using Koon’s prescribed financing, long do I have to wait before refinancing through my CU?
2. Are there any options/packages that are causing longer delivery times?

We got a Rubicon with the and I have a TRX on order.

3 months for their financing if they are giving you any money for it. The delays….your guess is as good as anyone. I have seen a bunch identical to mine roll off that were ordered a month or more after mine….a guy got his finally last week who ordered in June. That was the longest I had heard.

I'm not clear on what you guys are talking about with Koons financing. Are you required to use their financing somehow? I am planning on bringing my own financing from NavyFed.

1) i have used a dealerships before and refinanced after a few months.
2) Its a crap shoot, there is no rhyme or reason on how the factory decides which trucks to build 1st..ive seen people get their trucks early this month and they ordered back in Nov and one who ordered in Jan got his this month as well.

Thanks for the information folks. I was under a false impression on the financing part.

On their Rubicons, you got an additional $1000 off if you used their in house financing. I didnt think it was a thing for the TRX.

You don't need to use their financing, but if you have a good credit score they will work to find a rate that will meet or beat your best offer. They actually came back with the best rate for me through NWFCU.

Anyone knows if the Kons guy does anything with thier Toyota store?
@Koons_of_Tysons_Corner

Just saw they are adding the manual transmission finally to the supra and they are doing a limited 500 build run on the special edition variation with it so would love to jump on that.

If this deal is still going on I’m doing it! I have a level 1 on order at 90,480 MSRP, if deal is legit I can get a loaded out level 2 for less money.
It’s a no brainer and I’ll happily wait the extra months for it!

Just sent them an inquiry myself to compare with the order I currently have... if they beat it, I'll make the switch.

Just a heads up, they haven't updated their post, but they now require a $1,000 deposit again. Ever since March 12th, apparently...
