Today I picked up my steps. Local dealer with shop discount was $1375 .
They haven't quoted me what they want for installation yet. Bam was cheaper but they wanted $300 to ship, its a huge box 130lbs

Seems to me $1500 to $2000 is the ballpark installed. I am definitely in for that and I would prefer the Ram boards so I have the UConnect interface to turn them off if I want.

Happy Super Bowl Sunday!!!!! TRX owners!!!!! Here is my bed cover. If you want a more specific picture let me know. It works great and the LED light is a little over the top unless you hunt with a spotlight I doubt I put the remote on my keychain. I will just keep it in my truck. I will say if you are getting over 11mpg
on your truck you won’t need one. Nothing is going to fly out the back of your truck when the neighborhood Prius is honking at you to get TF out of the way! (Couldn’t help myself) Go Bucs!

Great my dealer just told me they won't flash my computer for warranty reasons.. seems like I need to find a new dealer

Thanks TripleB, That probably is a crucial step that the dealer has to make. I am planning on doing the same if and when I get my truck. I am hoping my dealer will take the factory installed running boards and credit me the difference. I know
but you have to try.

I just picked up my TRX and had the Ram Power Steps installed by the dealer. They work and look perfect per the video in this thread. My dealer was also able to add them to the Uconnect no problem. Looks and functions like a factory option..

I would assume they didn’t want to have to warranty them.

Give the ability to manually override them via the screen. This requires that the steps be added to your VIN in dealer connect which also adds the benefit of the Mopar steps being covered under warranty.

Guys.... Do you have to buy the Mopar power steps from a Ram dealer? I assumed so.

I tried to order the Mopar steps from BAM (the site listed on one of these threads) at $1200+ but when I went hit purchase they quoted almost $400 for shipping. I can get them from my dealer for less. So I will wait. Maybe I’ll do AMP.

Can you tell us what was your total cost from the dealer for the steps and install
