PNW (Pacific Northwet....WA, OR)

I work around Microsoft, so possibly me. I have seen a black one around there.
Could be! I am on the eastside most of the time.
I think there is another Granite owner near me and I saw a beautiful Blue one with a RAM bar on my street as well in the last month.

I will always, at the least, wave/give peace signs and/or flash my lights when I see another one.

You PNW guys are a bunch of slackers! I've only had the opportunity to meet 3 of you so far. Hopefully that will change next year when the weather gets better around here....

I have a granite with beadlocks driving around the area. There is a white one that I've seen around as well.

I was at Wade's last week. When I came back out to leave, there was a granite beast with Ram bar and beadlock wheels parked next to me. It was so clean, and mine was not. Pushed me to go home and polish mine up. lol

Hey everyone, been a long time lurker. Appreciate this whole thread, the PNW doesn't get enough love.

I was wondering if anyone has found a great mod shop to do tuning and aftermarket installation's?

Bought my White TRX in May of '21 and been overseas almost entirely since. Can't wait to come home to the Tacoma area and finally start my build.

Just saw this PNW thread. I’m in Spokane. Picked up my 2021 Black TRX (used) back in July of this yr.

Love the truck, it’s a Beast for sure!
First time a TRX parked near me (Spokane North Costco a few months back). Just noticed it doesn't have a front plate, so it may not be a WA truck.

I'm a couple hours (okay, 1 hour by TRX) north of Spokane:

Anyone going to the Overland Expo outside of Bend, OR next week? I'm headed down there from Thursday to Sat/Sun (not sure how long I'll stay). I'm camping at the expo's camping spot (Field camping unfortunately) but should be a good time. I bought the upgraded ticket package so will be attending some classes and doing some of the Expo run 4x4 events.

My truck. If you see me please feel free to say hi. Happy to meet up with anyone if others are going.

Some of us roll the dice and don't put the front plate on. So far I've been lucky, pulled over 2x in the hellcat and 1x in the trx, cops weren't too concerned about no plate on the vehicles.

I've never had a front plate on mine in WA State .... fingers crossed I don't ever need to put one on since I can't remember where it is. lol

Ha! That was me. I remember telling my wife “Holy crap! That’s the second TRX I’ve seen in Spokane” Nice truck 😎

I didn’t put the front plate on. Haven’t had any issues as of yet. I keep it under the back seat just in case. I’ll tell them “I was on my way to by a new front plate bracket to re-install” 🤔😆

My wife and I generally take one or two trips from Montana to San Juan Island each year. I could live there for sure.

I took my dad to visit my uncle in Seattle last summer. Fun place to catch a football game, but you couldn’t pay me to live there!

I had a blast.

I stayed a few hours outside of Bend (Crater Lake) and tent camped as I didn't want to deal with the Beverly Hills crowd and pricing in Bend, Oregon. As for the Expo itself it was super fun. I spoke to a few YouTube influencers (e.g., Trail Recon). The gear selection was impressive, though as is typical with a lot of Overland expos it was very Toyota Tacoma focused, but one exhibitor did have a tricked out TRX. All the exhaust companies were there so I spoke to a few them about TRX options.

if you've never been to " the big one " Overland Expo West, that one is awesome.
There you can drive the range rovers on a course as well as the enduro motorcycle courses as well as a million other things to see. Of course some years are better than others.
I was fortunate to live in Flagstaff Az for a few years.

There’s a place in Gig Harbor that has tricked out some local TRXs. Name escapes me but some Google sleuthing should help you find it. I believe they can handle tuning and performance.

I had Benchmark in Bellevue do so stuff to mine. Expensive though and they aren’t as great as they used to be as the owner I think is focusing on other businesses. (They’ve done three of my vehicles). Installed my stereo and radar.

Vogue Autowerks does a lot of truck stuff and did my Baja lights, bumpers, wheels, etc. Owner is a Raptor guy but he took care of my TRX and is cheaper than benchmark (but same level of service). A smaller shop. They do suspension and such. A guy was picking up his raptor when I dropped my truck off and he and his son made me smile with their neck cranes and envious looks heh.

Thanks a bunch. I'm coming home from working overseas and trading my white TRX in for a Sandblast as my Christmas present to myself. Just glad I didn't start my build yet! I looked into the shops you mentioned and the owner of Vogue Autowerks is a guy I used to race BMX with. Small world, and I appreciate the info. I'll try finding that Gig Harbor shop as well.

Ha, wow, a small world.

I recall talking to him about his BMX days. He also rides dirt bikes, so I clicked with him as I ride motorcycles. He's a good guy and I was happy with the work.

Only thing is they were very busy. I scheduled a head of time, but consider timing as he was months out on some stuff. Might have slowed down with the economy though.
