Here's my question to the PNW/west coasters. What did you guys do, and would you have done it differently? 1. Buy from local dealer and pay MSRP - 5k mark up. I think I saw Auburn dealer Bud Cleary does MSRP. or 2). get the 8-10k savings from dealer back east, fly out there and drive it back, or have it shipped for about 2k?

Option 2 saves money, but I really don't want to put 1200 miles on it right away like that Although, the wife is all in for a road trip.

Any help and suggestion would be greatly appreciated. I got the hard part done, getting the wife to agree to this beast.

i bought mine out of STL at msrp back in 21 when everyone had insane mark up. road trip home was fun. we just ordered a escalade v aswell and are getting it out of virginia because the local mark up is stupid on those aswell. worth it to go out of state imo

Havent yet. Gonna take it to Qlispe when it opens for “test and tune”. I’ve put the Afe Momentum in Hellraisen red on it. After I see what it runs , I’m going to have the FAS Predator lower pulley put on. I’m selling those wheels & drag radials cuz it would be a pain in the ass to switch out . lol!

Plus, I’ll be taking my Hellcat out to the track most of the time.

Awesome. Haven't been out since they changed owners. Covid kind of burned me out for going to the track for how bad they ran things. I've taken my Hellcat out several times over the years, ran a best 10.2 @147. It has a 9.99 in it if I could get my 60' down. Had fun, but I'm over drag racing it at the strip. Actually selling my drag pack set up. I might come out and check out the new management and maybe race the TRX but not sure. Have fun!

I had no idea the track changed ownership/names. Last time I was there in the 80's, it was Spokane Raceway Park. We used to race in the Friday Night High School Drags and watched the NHRA Summer Nationals.

Yep. It was just a hot mess towards the end of the previous owners term. Glad the tribe purchased it. Even though I don't race as much Spokane still needs a place to race.

I believe tribe took over the track , re-named Qlispe raceway, so far they’re doing a great job. They put in new lights at the start and finish. They put in a new concrete start pad. Over the last couple months they ground down the track to level it and fix imperfections. It should be really nice this year , I mean it was really nice last year.

They’re hosting the Street Outlaws race this year too ( among other races)

Ya, it’s way better. I posted below on some of the stuff they have upgraded.

It was my first time with my 2022 Challenger hellcat. With the stock tires aired down to 22lbs, I was spinning until it shifted to 2nd gear. Embarrassingly the best I did was 12.0 1/4 mile

This year I’m putting Mickey Thompson Steet SS drag radials on and a Performance Development differential brace. Hopefully I’ll get into the 11’s.
