Hi there,2022 TRX with the drive line clunk ! @RamCares
Nothing from @RamCares …Updates from anyone?
Hello,Lex with @RamCares - every TRX has the “clunk.” My driveshaft was replaced and here we sit some 6,000 miles later and it’s back. I can’t say enough good things about my dealer and my service rep, they’ve been awesome on a few issues. This isn’t a service department issue. This is a defect from Ram. The real question is do we hope for any solution from Ram? We know the Hellcat equipped TRX days are limited, so there may be little incentive from Ram to fix this.
My clunk case has been ongoing for awhile during which both my dealer and RamCares has been responsive and good to work with. A star case was opened and my truck went back to the dealer for further evaluation. After the dealer communicated with Ram, the advice they got from Ram was replace the driveshaft ( on back order with unknown availability date) and reprogram the transmission.I have received several calls from customer service wanting to know the status of my parts order for me. (they were not aware that I am both the customer and the parts person) @RamCares. These tickets have been opened incorrectly. The call center people are calling looking at what is being ordered and they are closing the tickets when they learn there are no parts to order. We need this to go to the engineers NOT the call centers. We cannot get Star Cases open because techs do not get paid to open cases on known issues that have no resolutions. This MUST go directly to the engineers.
Thanks! Mine goes in Monday to be addressed.Other members posted this yesterday, but it's been buried in other threads. Since it affects so many trucks, I thought it deserved its own thread.
My 2022 didn't have the clunk and my 2023 doesThanks! Mine goes in Monday to be addressed.
