New screen with update?

Started getting a new (for me) problem today. Carplay directions (utilizing google maps) displaying in the hud and gauge cluster continuously blink, like the display is continuously updating or something.

What is the latest version? Mine is showing FCA-MY24.U35.26-PROD Not sure if I have gotten the latest update?

I just noticed it last week, using G Maps via CarPlay. I usually use Waze and I don't think Waze shows in the driver center screen at all (but I could be wrong).

That's about the same timeline as me. It's odd that is does it in both the cluster and hud.

Mine's been doing this for the last two months. If you try and move to a different screen like diagnostics, mpg or anything else, it'll display for a second or two and go right back to the blinking directions.

Maybe I'll start my truck tomorrow and see if I have the newest update.

Nothing yet 2022 live in Connecticut if that matters. Have setup WiFi to see if that helps to get update

The fix I care about most is the drive mode thing and I am concerned this update doesn't even address that after over a year.

Well. I have the hellcat motor on my drive modes screen again.
That was after my screen, radio, back up camera… everything… froze, crashed… took about 4 door cycles and a windows open drive home with unknown hvac and weird radio volume going from quiet to deafening back and forth.

But the drive modes still default to the auto “button” highlighted regardless of what is pressed.
The two pages of gauges is back, but I fear that’s temporary like it was before.

The radio, back up camera and hvac etc are working again after that last door cycle. So fingers crossed that stays on.

I really wish Ram would fix all this crap.

A bunch of door cycles later it worked again,

So now I have the hellcat motor, everything else is the same, same issues with only 1 gauge screen and the other messed up performance pages.

But a new issue of CarPlay no longer working is awesome.

I got the typical dancing screen frozen on whatever it was showing, radio quiet or blaring, then needing multiple door cycles to finally reset.

Then the two gauge screens were available and the Trx engine replaced the rho engine on drive modes.

But if you hit custom or any drive mode it still reverts back to auto.

And now CarPlay won’t work at all, and if the iPhone does link up, it gets kicked off after a few minutes.

My screen went dark and wouldn't come on for several hours yesterday. First time I'd driven the truck in several days. Guessing I got the update too.

Yea… that happened first to me. Then after sitting and 2 door cycles and drive cycles it came on.
Then the next drive after picking the kids up the screen froze/jumping screen radio volume craziness happened

Ugh. Their fix made things worse

Don’t worry give them another 12-18 months and it should be fixed
