New screen with update?

All of us should email their leaders. I work in semiconductors and usually when customers email executives, they get responses and push on their team. I'll be emailing later today.
 
If @KnightMare could get his dear friend Tim to peek at this thread even once I bet he would be disgusted how far this can has been kicked down the road.

Lol, waste of time they are not going to fix it it. It would have been fixed in a few days after they screwed it up if they were going to fix it

Long story short (This thread is over 60 pages) what is the overall issue I can help bring attention to? Want to go back to the old layout of the screens?

There are numerous issues. When you change modes it changes the actual mode but the screen defaults back to auto. The TRX button no longer works. All the propulsion info are RHO. It shows a turbo on the gauges instead of the screw blower. There are many issues

And this been going on for almost 2 years? Widespread issue with certain model years?
 
Horsepower numbers in performance pages are not accurate, most are too low. Image in performance pages showed an rho motor for a long time, then went back and forth. Some now show supercharger again. Changing drive modes shows correct on dash, but on uconnect it appears to jump back into auto. Something changed with pedestrian emergency braking options. Digital dashes have some issues. Etc...This all started shortly after they added a button to buy things, then ads followed and a whole bunch of glitches..

Screen completely goes black at times
Freezes shows nothing until a key cycle reset
Backup camera freezes (legitimate safety issue)
 
biggest issue I have is I cannot customize drive modes anymore (Auto & Custom). If you try to edit custom, screen defaults to Auto and I can not make changes.

@KnightMare you have a 2021 which I believe is not affected by these OTA updates issues. 2022+ only.

Long story short...yeah no but here goes, 27.46 Uconnect I think for most everyone was stable with 0 issues. Don't know about the layout, but it was stable. Then some including myself got updated to 29.44 and thats where the fun started, RHO on a TRX in the Uconnect. Some had worse issues than others including safety concerns, the graphics showing the RHO and sometimes 1 then 2 pages of gauges, and back to one. 520 and less on HP, along with dancing screens. Customizing modes are gone, and shows always in auto on the 12", but does change the mode on the steering display. Then we get 35.26, for some fixed graphic back to TRX, for others not so much. Uconnect resetting or going black while driving, freezing, buzzing, and resetting. All this since April, and being told a fix is coming that never comes. Ramcares was trying to update us, but they don't really know. Im sure any help would be greatly appreciated. Sorry it wasn't short, but I think its a decent summary for the past year, sorry if I missed anyones concerns.
 
I have a couple contacts I can hit up and see if they can get this worked on. I got Ram to fix the RHO 98mph issue so hopefully I can get Ram to look in on this

-infotainment will freeze, crash, and restart while driving
-while playing spotify on apple carplay, music will get choppy as if losing connection and cut in and out a bunch and then infotainment will crash and restart
-cameras turn on during reverse and then freeze which has almost caused me to back into a vehicle, then the infotainment crashes and restarts
-TRX graphics replaced with RHO graphics ( this did get fixed for me)
-Info page that show gauges will never show both pages. I will get 1 page or 2 pages to choose from. if i get 1 page, then i cannot see my air/fuel mix, boost pressure and some other gauges.
-TRX button never works now. I'll push the button and it does nothing.
-switching drive mode selects the drive mode and highlights it but then moves to AUTO drive mode.
-the entire infotainment system used to be fast, now its incredibly slow and laggy. sometimes take multiple presses to register

I'll add that it's not just carplay, it's also android auto (intermittent stutters and disconnects).
 
@KnightMare let’s go ahead and add that ads works PERFECTLY… EVERY TIME. Idk what I would do if I was unable to get this delivered to my trucks screen Expeditiously.

Same stories, same issues and I'll add the NAV mode over the instrument panel works only once a day at the first time you use it. After long wait for RAM to at least acknowledge it, I decided together the truck to the dealership to put it in the logbook and make it official. After couple of days they told me they open a STAR case for it, and now it's in the hands of RAM's engineers. I can't say that I'm happy with it. It might take some time and the truck has to stay there. I'll keep you posted if I'll get a positive outcome.
Personally, I wouldn't have bought that truck knowing then what I know now. Customer service, professionalism and responsibility are yet to be found.

KnightMare is known as Butter Da Insider on Youtube. He no longer has a TRX (sold his 2021 a while back), but has a Demon 170 and other vehicles. If you go take a look at his channel, he's very active and helpful with many situations.
 
Carplay cuts out mid song and comes back
Loud buzzing at start up that requires radio reset
Black radio screen
Section of screen jumps up and down along with not showing menu tabs at bottom (have a short cut widget and selecting climate seems to fix issue)
Unable to change custom drive mode and reverts back to auto
TRX button doesn't work

You name it my '22 has it since april/may of 2025. Was in a used '24 and noticed TRX button didn't work and unable to change drive mode. Would just be great to not have to worry every time I drive the truck if it's going to have any of the mentioned issues.
