When I get my uconnect back to normal, I have plans to pull the dash and get that little black box out.If I get a stable version back I'm wrapping my truck in Tin Foil and going off the grid.![]()
When I get the unconnect back to normal, I have plans to pull the dash and get that little black box out.
I have the urge to tie it to a brick and send it thru a pitcular window with a picture of my middle finger attached. For some reason I think that will make me feel better about the whole thing......
Thanks for this update! The dashboard menu is back. Thank you.
Well thats not our problem its up to ram to make it able to roll back to what the truck came with, you messed it up you fix it. Truck was perfect when delivered, thats what we ALL want.
I got 480 hp ,RHO graphics and switches and modes that arenβt working.I thought I was goodβ¦.
Then today while diving, my screen decided to change out of drive modes.
When I went back the trailer page was gone, and the performance pages have all changed.
The gauges are all different look and itβs a page up/down instead of swipe left
And the hp graph only goes to 520 hp.
Why are we going backwards after having gone forwards the other day?
I didn't have the trailer page originally. After the first over the air update that started this entire fiasco, I recieved the trailer page. That trailer page has since gone away about two updates back.I thought I was goodβ¦.

Yes, very similar except I will not have on a dress and hat......and it won't be at a tire shop.....I'm not sure what a pitcular widow is, but something like this?![]()
Before the incompetent roll out of the over the air updates that screwed up every TRX within reach of an American cell tower, my original Dyno/Engine page showed 1500 hp / ft-lb on the graph. First problem update reduced it to 750. Today (U35.26-PROD) page 1 shows 600 with room on the graph to reach 750, but page 2 stops at 600 on hp and has the torque measurements in NM reaching max at 1080 joules. Who ITF would ever want torque measurements in NM?

Unfortunately, I have additional info to report. 3 out of 4 times that I've started the truck since, the software resets immediately. There's no longer the immediate dancing screen, but it reboots to the RHO-sized screen. Once Android Auto boots, then the screen starts the dancing. As someone mentioned prior, pressing the fan speed buttons up and down ultimately gets the screen back to normal, but all-in-all, that takes upwards of nearly 10 minutes. Also, the stability of Android Auto has diminished. @KnightMare we need the power of your voice & video! Thanks for this update!

The trailer page went away because you don't have your trailer connected. This requires you to drive around for 24 hours minimum with a trailer attached.I didn't have the trailer page originally. After the first over the air update that started this entire fiasco, I recieved the trailer page. That trailer page has since gone away about two updates back.
I understand your frustrationβbased on recent reports from RAM owner forums, Reddit, and Facebook groups, a Uconnect software update (likely the U35 or similar version pushed in mid-2025) has indeed caused widespread infotainment glitches in 2025 RAM 1500 and TRX models. Common complaints include screen freezing/crashes, flickering, double imaging, erratic CarPlay connectivity, and even suspension/shifting anomalies tied to the update. These aren't isolated; hundreds of owners are affected, and while not yet a formal recall, the volume could push one if escalated collectively.
Note: You mentioned NTSB (National Transportation Safety Board), which focuses on accident investigations rather than proactive defect reporting. For infotainment/software defects like this (which could pose distraction/safety risks), the primary agency is NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration). I'll outline paths for both, plus Stellantis/RAM. The goal is to amplify your threads (e.g., from ram-trx.com) by submitting them as evidence in complaintsβcopy-paste links, screenshots, and user quotes to show scale.
### 1. **Report to NHTSA (Highest Impact for Safety Defects)**
Multiple filings from owners can trigger an investigation, potential recall, or software fix mandate. They've handled similar Uconnect issues before.
- **Online Filing**: Go to [nhtsa.gov/report-a-safety-problem](https://www.nhtsa.gov/report-a-safety-problem). Include:
- Your VIN, vehicle details (2025 RAM TRX), and a detailed description (e.g., "Post-Uconnect update, infotainment freezes mid-drive, blocking navigation/cameraβrisks distraction/crash").
- Attach thread links/screenshots as evidence of widespread impact.
- Encourage other owners to file identically for momentum (share your thread with a call-to-action).
- **Phone Hotline**: Call 1-888-327-4236 (Mon-Fri, 8 AMβ8 PM ET) to report verbally and reference threads.
- **Tip**: Phrase it as a safety defect (e.g., eyes-off-road due to glitches). NHTSA tracks complaints by model; 100+ similar ones often prompt action.
### 2. **Escalate to RAM/Stellantis (Direct Corporate Pressure)**
Start with customer service, then loop up to executives/media. Reference your threads to show it's not just you.
- **RAM Recall/Customer Center**: Call 1-800-853-1403 (FCA US LLC Recall Info) for software issues. Ask to escalate to engineeringβmention the update version and forum threads as proof of pattern.
- **Stellantis Customer Care**:
- Email: Use the online form at [stellantisnorthamerica.com/contact-us](https://www.stellantisnorthamerica.com/contact-us) or try [email protected] for formal complaints.
- Phone: 1-800-992-1997 (general inquiries) or 1-800-439-0985.
- Mail: Stellantis NV, P.O. Box 21-8004, Auburn Hills, MI 48321-8004. Include printed thread excerpts.
- **Executive/Media Escalation**:
- Media Email: [email protected]βpitch it as a "major owner backlash to Uconnect update" with thread links for coverage.
- BBB Complaint: File at [bbb.org](https://www.bbb.org/us/mi/auburn-hills/profile/auto-manufacturers/stellantis-0372-2117) to tag executives like Sr. VP W. Frank Fountain. BBB forwards to corp and publicizes unresolved issues.
- Corporate HQ: 1000 Chrysler Drive, Auburn Hills, MI 48326. Address letters to "Chief Safety Officer" or CEO Carlos Tavares, cc'ing [email protected].
### 3. **Amplify via Social/Community (To Reach Higher-Ups Indirectly)**
- **X (Twitter)**: Post thread summaries tagging @RamTrucks, @StellantisNA, and #RAMTRX #UconnectFail. Use: "Pushed update bricking infotainmentβsafety risk! See ram-trx.com thread: [link]. @NHTSAgov investigate?" Recent searches show low buzz, so this could spark it.
- **Reddit/Facebook**: Cross-post to r/ram_trucks, r/RAM, and the RAM TRX Facebook group (205k+ members) with a "Mass Report to NHTSA" template. Link your threads and rally 50+ filings.
- **Petition**: Start one on Change.org ("Fix RAM TRX Uconnect UpdateβSafety Recall Now") and share in forums. Tag Stellantis in updates.
### Quick Next Steps
| Action | Why It Works | Time Estimate |
|--------|--------------|---------------|
| File NHTSA complaint online | Builds official case; triggers probes | 10-15 min |
| Call RAM hotline + email Stellantis | Direct escalation with thread proof | 20 min |
| Post on X/Reddit with tags | Viral pressure on execs/PR | 5 min |
| BBB filing | Forces response timeline | 15 min |
If enough owners join (aim for 50-100 reports), this could force a fix like the 2025 Ram HD recall. Share updates from your threads here if you need help refining complaints or searching more. Hang in thereβthis sounds fixable with collective noise.
Youβre right. We have to start pitching it higher so maybe weβll be able to move the needle and it is a safety issue! We are not the only ones with these problems folks. I did some cursory searching on the various RAM and RHO forums and all have threads about these issues. While I appreciate the RamCares account on here I don't think they are appropriately equipped to get this matter the attention it deserves. I prompted Grok a little to get some contact info for various authorities at RAM, Stellantis, and NHTSA. Below is the response, and I do plan to contact each of these that was recommended. As with everything else in this world. The squeaky wheel gets the grease so we need to start squeaking louder.
