New screen with update?

Mine does not always recognize my Android auto connection after I stop and start the vehicle when running errands. I have to unplug and re-plug in my phone each stop/engine shut down. This started after the update over the past weekend. Also, my gauges short cut page is now blank. I guess I have add them again.

I received a DM from @RamCares indicating that it is possible that the issues will be corrected by end of month........
We will see.
My new glitch is each morning I lose page 2 gauges but keep my v8. After a few raido resets I get the I6 and no page 2 gauges. After radio reset 3 or 4 I get the v8 back and page 2 gauges. The turbo icon remains on my boost gauge, and the reduced power and torque graphs remain.

I'm on FCA-MY24.U35.26-PROD and it seems ok. Everything works, this morning it was TRX logo on the perf page and all was well. After work I started it and it had reverted to the RHO stuff and it flipped back to auto after selecting sport. It did stay in sport mode, but the indicator moved back to auto. Eh, it'll sort itself out eventually.

I deleted a post I made a few minutes ago, because everything came back. While I was driving, the 12" screen locked up on the drive mode page and it selected sport mode all by itself. I couldn't change anything. It wouldn't even let me do a soft reset. I did two ignition cycles and nothing changed. After a third ignition cycle, everything is back to RHO normal. I did a couple more soft resets since then, but she still thinks she's an RHO. I suppose I'll need 35.26 in order to get rid of the RHO horseshit. Oh well, just glad my screen isn't locked up any more.

Funny isn't it! Things have been FU so long, now we're happy to have any improvement.

You'll know when you get it, Alexa symbol will reappear at the top. At least mine did, I think if I read it correctly everyone will need to be on the jacked up 35.26 then another "fix update" will be applied to all. Can't wait

If I would have been stuck on Classic Rewind listening to Lita Ford or Bruce Springsteen, I would have lost my shit.

Well, drove the truck today and back to RHO and 1 page of gauges...lol. Fortunately I did not experience any lock up, but my usb that has my thumb drive with music went away for a little while. It's done that before, well before the bad update.
Im really curious, the ones that are having worse issues, is there a tazer installed? Wonder if that has any thing to do with this on top of the bad update possibly making things worse? I do not have and never have had a tazer and do not want one, just curious.

I just back from running some errands. As soon as I left the house, the Hellcat engine was displayed on the drive modes page, but I still have the wrong gauges. I made two stops and the Hellcat remained. I fully expect to have the Hurricane back by tomorrow and I'm okay with that as long as the screen doesn't lock up.

There seems to be some thermistor on the usb and when the cabin gets hot it shuts those ports down until it cool offs. Only happens when i leave it at work all day outside while its 90+ outside. As you said it does come back after about 10-15 minutes

Another day, another lost function. All my saved pages are not only gone now but impossible to get back as they are either unavailable to recreate or simply missing from the menu of options. Is UConnect 4 experiencing all of these issues as well? I never even considered a Raptor R as the price was silly and the interior was not even close but starting to make more sense now. If there was at least some communication from @RamCares about a fix but crickets…. I can’t believe they would want to alienate so many clients that are current and potential halo product buyers. Simply foolish…..

I recieved my third update in about as many months. I have noticed that most of the issues fix themselves after 4 or 5 resets of the radio, but come back the next day. So every morning I have a routine of doing 4 to 5 radio resets on the way to work. It bothers me that over night the problems come back.
I am looking forward to Ram getting this figured out.

I worked in IT all of my career. I can tell you if we ever pushed out a new software update this bad without fixing it for so long, we'd would have already fired all analyst involved and their bosses.

Yeah, and I'm not seeing a comparable thread on the 5thgenrams site. They aren't having the same extent of issues as we are (of course, since most of the issues seem TRX and RHO specific), so the affected user base is small. Fixing these bugs is low on Stellantis' priority list.

I got the update failed message yesterday. Now every time I start it, it goes to the wifi connection screen and asks to connect to wifi to check for updates. I’m certainly not doing that, still on version T27.46 and it’s working fairly well.

I wonder if the one or more of the 400 programmers they let go did something to the code so that no one can fix it. Seems that every time they make a change something else breaks, or they just kept the morons.

Has anyone disconnected the battery for a few hours overnight? Not sure if a complete power drain if the system with a clean reboot would help?

For those having issues with car play. Have you tried deleting the connection both in your phone and I'm the truck then creating a new one? Those updates I think need a new connection to make it work with the new code.

They never should have sent out the update in the first place for u connect. Don't mess with what works
