New screen with update?

Mine updated to 35.26 this morning. The update rearranged my shortcuts, but that was an easy fix. After it was done, it had those weird rainbow thingies by the seat controls and it reverted back to the RHO graphics. I did two soft resets and everything but the gauges are back to normal. I did three stops and Hellcat graphics are still there. I didn't check to see if the second page of gauges reappeared.

Well that seems somewhat better. Can you get the gauges in a shortcut? It isn't even an option for me to do it

I get all of the gauges in my cluster and that's where I look at them anyway, so I really don't miss them on the 12" screen.

I wonder if the one or more of the 400 programmers they let go did something to the code so that no one can fix it. Seems that every time they make a change something else breaks, or they just kept the morons.

Here's a new "feature" I found recently. If I "tell" (talk) to my nav system to plot a new route for me, the AC turns off while I'm taking to it and while it's plotting the route. AS soon as it's done, the AC comes back on. WTF! I never noticed that before so I guess it's new. Sure gets warm quick in the hot Texas sun.

Another thing that occurred to me, if RAM is going to keep updating our truck OTA without asking, we might as well ask for some new options to include in their next update.

My first one would be to let us pick the voice "wake up command". The only options now are "Hey UConnect" or "Hey Ram". I'd like to change mine to "Hey HAL" since you never know what the computer is going to do from one day to the next.

(For you younger folks that may have never seen the 1968 classic movie "A Space Odyssey", HAL was the on board computer that kept F^&%ing Up.

I think all of the new fords also do this. Mine will even do it when I'm on a phone call if the AC is on full blast

Yep, I get that too but the correct drive mode is displayed in the cluster (Baja, Sport, Custom) and the truck graphics show that the selected mode is active.

I still don't have the second page of gauges, but everything else is the way it should be.

Drove mine today, RHO graphics, 1 page on gauges, didn't try to change modes. Bright side is everything seems to be running right, I'm going to treat it like 401k, just don't watch it.

How do you kick it in its ass so the thing starts looking more normal quicker? Some kind or reset?

3 or 4 cycles or a couple resets, I still showing RHO graphics and 1 page on the gauges with this version. Hold volume and tune, screen goes blank the logo shows and let go to reset. There's another way as well, this is what I did.

Mine is back to the RHO graphics, but I've got two pages of gauges. Although one of the gauges is turbo boost pressure. So I've got that going for me, which is nice. Wait, I'm supposed to be mad...Rage face.

Everything in UConnect 5 is working flawlessly, but it is pretty funny how these dipshits can't get simple graphics and gauges right. If I did my job as poorly as they are, we'd be filling body bags.

Mine updated to 35.26 this morning. My performance pages took an hour to come back and now I am missing the shift light button and race cooldown button in the race options. My drive modes revert back to the auto button after I select a drive mode on the center screen but seem to stay in the drive mode I select. Before this update, everything was working correctly even though I had the RHO graphic. Why in the hell is it so hard for Ram to get these updates right? They must have hired some Ford software engineers!

The price you pay for this truck, and the horrendous updates and ease of theft are comical. Then you get an email from Ram about the service of your truck, and the picture in regard to your truck aint even a TRX…not even your trucks trim. Comic book shit. I went from Ford to Ram…thinking it was a huge mistake, I think my gut was right.
