New screen with update?

I was just reviewing this thread to download TSB 08-157-25 and noticed that @GeorgiaTRX quit this forum. He must have followed through on his threat to buy a Raptor R because of the RHO graphics on his performance pages. 🤣 Maybe @Dudebro can check the Raptor forums to see if he showed up there. If not, I'll see if I can get his pic up on a missing persons milk carton.View attachment 146899
Tried searching for him and don’t see it!

Hello everyone,
We wanted to provide an update to all of you about the ongoing complaints regarding the RHO graphics and other issues seen across the TRX customer population.

As those of you in this thread know, on 4/17/25 a firmware-over-the-air (FOTA) update was released as part of a planned two-step update to take your radio software from T27.46, to U29.44 and then U35.26. For vehicles that downloaded the U29.44 update before it was paused on 4/25/25, once your radio updated to U29.44, you experienced the incorrect graphics, among other issues. For those whose radios did NOT download U29.44 before the pause, the radio did not experience those issues. The graphics and other problems to the head unit apps were caused by a subsequent app-over-the-air (AOTA) update, which always follows a FOTA to ensure the apps in the head unit are updated, and in this case were incorrectly updated with the RHO-based information.

We have been made aware that over the last two weeks, although those of you still at T27.46 have not received any additional FOTA (unless it was already downloaded into your radio prior to the 4/25/25 pause), AOTA was sent and caused the same issues seen after the U29.44 update. We immediately alerted the internal parties responsible. All TRX customers will now receive the corrective AOTA that is currently being developed, which is set to be released after the July 4th holiday (timing is subject to change at any time for any reason).

There is no action that any customer needs to take at this point — in the past we requested VINs but those are not necessary as all customers will receive the new AOTA update once it is available. We apologize that this update has caused further anger and frustration for the TRX community. While Customer Care is not a part of the development or deployment process for software updates, we have been relaying your feedback continuously since April and will continue to do so to ensure we strive for a better customer experience.

And where is that located?
It's a whole procedure you have to do to bypass it. You'll lose sos gps locator.. you'd have to do a search for it on this forum there's a couple people that have listed the procedure

And where is that located?

Page 3 of this post #53... he shows the Fakra cable from Amazon you need to purchase. There are 4 files on removal of the glove box. I just did this myself. I also used AlfaOBD to turn stuff off. Feel free to reach out with any questions.

Thanks, I'll check it out. You know this is why I stay away from dealerships service department. They always seem to f&%^up something. Now they are getting us without even going in.

yesterday I looked at my 23 yup the stupid 6 banger picture is there......urrrrrrrr

Same with my 22. And you still only get 6 gauges . I liked being able to monitor my intercooler temps in case the IC pump fails.
Great job ram

Hi everyone,
We have good news! The first phase of app-over-the-air (AOTA) fixes should be arriving to vehicles this weekend. Please note that this is NOT a full launch to every single TRX owner yet, but we are hopeful that a majority of you here on the forum will be in the first wave. As is Stellantis policy, the national launch to all customers will follow in about a week, barring any issues in this initial batch. We hate to have to say it, but this timing is subject to change at any time for any reason. We will let you know as soon as possible if there is a change to any of this.

Please note, this is specifically for the graphics, and the AOTA is hitting the apps in the radio that were affected with the RHO graphics. We want to be transparent in that specificity because we are aware that there were several other concerns mentioned after the FOTA/AOTA — this is solely to fix the graphics and should not be considered a fix for any other concern. Additionally, AOTAs are considered a 'silent' update, unlike FOTAs that show a pop-up to alert you of the update; there will be no specific indication that the update has occurred (this has always been the way AOTAs function). The expectation is that it could take 2-3 days for the update to fully complete and sync to the radio (it's not an instantaneous update).

Hopefully this is good news to take you into your weekend. As a reminder, we are not active here on Saturday or Sunday but will be checking in on Monday to see if anyone has been successfully updated. We will also keep tabs on the full launch and let you all know when to expect that.
