My Story- 2021 Ram TRX

After moving here I quickly learned that vehicles driven in snow, and especially on salted roads, should not go back into the garage.

Partially because of the resulting mess, but mostly to be nice to the vehicles. The freezing/thawing cycles helps rust develop, it's better to leave them frozen. Plus, any subsequent snowfall cleans them off.
Knock on wood, I’ve never had that issue. But I also keep my vehicles as clean as possible. I waited for it to warm up to 15F today then washed the truck.

...and here I am in the deep south cringing at possible 3" of Snow and mid-20F. Funny thing everything is closed and I am told work from home next 3 days :)

Even without any snow, or salt, or rain, there can be condensation happening when going between cold and warm.

With some luck it's dry enough at your place to not be an issue...until dripping all kinds of moisture onto the garage floor.

Installed some LED lights under the rail of the truck bed. The swing out tool box blocked the factory lights.

The garage gets a good cleaning every Spring. A mat might make that easier. I’ll look into it.

I drove my airport car 40 miles in a driving snow storm, then parked in my heated garage overnight. My containment mat collected a bunch of nasty, dirty water. I was curious how much water it was holding, so I squeegeed it to one end and pumped it into a couple of 5 gallon buckets. 7 gallons. So glad that crap didn't get on my garage floor.

What brand containment mat do you have? I hate the mess on the garage floor!!

Walking across the secondary parking lot after a long week, it’s nice to see this waiting for me. I really appreciated the remote start from the app that turned on the heated seats and heated steering wheel!
