2021 Ram TRX
I think it’s safe to say we all have a story. Whether you’re blue collar, white collar, middle class, upper class, or something else, there is a story in all of us. Each persons story makes them unique.

Since October (ish) of 2002 I’ve been in a Dodge product. My first Dodge was a used 1999 Dakota I bought in October to replace my 1988 Ford Bronco I had bought in high school.

A few years after the Dakota I bought a 2004 HD Ram 2500 Hemi where my very unoriginal user name comes from. That trucked served me well until I replaced it with a 2012 Ram Power Wagon. From there I took a shot at the Dark Side and bought a 2020 Ford Raptor in early 2020. Well, when the used market went stupid I ended up ordering a TRX on April 13th of 2021, and exactly 16 weeks later the TRX arrived.

Below are a few pictures of my past trucks.

From here I’m not sure where the TRX journey will take me. I have a few things ordered to put on the truck, but nothing real exciting just yet. All I know is it’s nice to be back in a Ram product. I feel like I’ve come home.

Great write up. Enjoy reading the stories and choices people make in getting a machine like the TRX.

You may feel the same way @04Ram2500Hemi , but after owning and daily driving a fully loaded TRX for about 6 months now, I'd be very hard pressed to give it up. Every other truck, luxury or "off-road" type, I've sat in is very under-whelming now. Ram put together the TOTAL package on this truck, and in my opinion, raised the bar on what a pickup truck can be.

I friggin' love this wide-ass gas hog.

Congrats on finally getting the truck. It’s a beauty. Enjoy!

04Ram2500Hemi your truck looks to be pretty much the same as the one I have on order. I also came out of a 2020 Raptor and had a 2012 Raptor before that. Prior to the Raptors I had a F150 FX4 so all of my trucks have been Fords. Really looking forward to the TRX.

The TRX is an interesting change from the Raptor. The TRX is a luxury truck with an attitude! You will notice the extra weight of the TRX when you dive into a corner, but the power of the Hellcat rips you right out of it. I’m still getting used to this truck, but it’s been fun so far!

this truck is awesome. Glad your loving it.
Wait till you can try launch control
I did two launches yesterday. One with Launch Control and one without. I had better results not using Launch Control. It’s pretty insane how this truck just hooks up and goes!

Added a few things to the truck today:
-Mopar Bug Guard
-Rokblokz Mud Flaps
-Truxedo Low Profile Tonnau Cover
-Swing Out Tool Box
-Hellcat Badges
-Front windows tinted to match the back windows (the receipt says 25%)

Thoughts on the SwingCase so far? Here on the forums, seems to be mixed reviews with its survivability depending on how hard you offroad the truck.

I have 2 of them in my 2020 Rebel. Love them. They should hold up to bouncing just fine. They are supported on 2 points...so up and down movement is about 0. Only thing that seems like it could hurt them would be impact in super cold (like -20F) temps...but its not logical that would happen.

I'll be getting 2 for my TRX also.

And hey... to OP...which "model" of the swing boxes did you get? I'm wondering if there is any chance the ones from my 2020 Rebel will fit 2022 TRX. I think there is a good chance as they aren't really 100% truck specific.
