I am not sure. They have so many fanboys who refuse to believe for a second that there is anything lacking in the Raptor R. Remember, these are the guys who to this day think the "trombone exhaust" is phenomenal. I actually believe there is nothing but back slapping and glad handing in that echo chamber.

That's why I'm thinking the rest of the specs such as accel and MPG will be dissapointing as well. Seems like Fords focus was on the "best Raptor" not acknowledging the TRX even exists. The truck is solely for Ford guys who wanted a V8. That sucks if true

For those proposing TRX buyers were waiting - now TRX will be over window, the days of window are likely over with umbrella pricing from the R + its over, so every new buyer gets hurt price wise.

The guy so carefully stayed away from the truth: we were dragged kicking and screaming in to this product due to the TRX.

10 speed gearing will also keep it down. That's another mark v the R that doesn't bode with the 0-60 pull times v the TRX. Hence, why they are silent on the performance numbers but asking for guys to blindly open their wallets.

I went from 6.2L Raptor to TRX, did not want the V6 Raptor. I am on my local dealer list for the Raptor R. From what I have seen so far today. I will be sticking with the TRX.

The TRX will def have the advantage of all time 4WD, better gearing. The R will not have a chance with off the line acceleration. I think they went a little overboard with the 8's all over the truck. That price point is Bullshit. But at least Ford is willing to give the TRX a run for its money.

@ 34'30" the engineer is asked about 0-60 and 1/4 mile times: "we didn't design the Raptor with those things in mind but to make the fastest truck on the dirt"

I bet the R will be a 4.5-5 sec truck. Fast but not faster than the TRX.

Yeah I thought it would be more like 750HP, but it is a little over 900 lbs lighter so that might make it shine over the TRX in 0 to 60 times. But I'd never buy a Ford again.

5950 is what’s released for the raptor R yesterday.
6350 trx spec sheet.
Only a 400 lb difference. Or to put it plainly the average sized American
