Man you'd be surprised how many times people express how highly priced some stuff(even tho with us we try to make stuff as cheap as possible for the end user) is for these trucks and I am like uh hey man you do have a 80-100k truck in my head.. lol

This may be a convo for another thread, but people are pretty quick to jump on the bandwagon of fly by night wheel companies selling Chinese forged wheels out of their living rooms with 0 questions asked because they replicated an OE hellcat wheel into a bead lock and marked them up 500 percent lol.

So making an "ass for every seat" helps i think!

I have a lot of guys reach out and say they want to do a big brake kit more so for the appearance, and if that ends up being the case and that is all this kit is good for.. $900 for that vs $3000+ just to achieve a look isn't bad.

It takes all types. Not here to talk shit, just thought it was funny.

Realistically most of these truck get driven like a normal truck so it makes since.

I keep waiting around for a solid brake kit for 17" wheels... I want to run 39" projects😭

Haha I didn't think so but honestly I am surprised at the lack of "cheaper" companies that haven't jumped aboard on making random stuff for these. (Levels, springs, arms, etc.).

I know you put all killer shit on your truck and use it!

TRX tax is no joke.

I hope the 1st gen TRX prices plummet so more people can afford them and offroad the shit out of them so the aftermarket support grows like the Raptors have.

This truck is so much stronger than the raptor already so once the aftermarket catches up we can all rip in a home built RW style truck 💪🏻

Im here for it!! Already have well over $50k into my truck (ups only) so im ready to cut corners. Hence, why i was interested in the Carbons (at least initially lol). My front power stops are warped and shake pretty bad anyways so I was thinking of putting the stockers back on until I saw this.

A few of us on the forum worked with RB Racing to release a few kits, one of which is a 17" kit. We tried to run a GB but just didn't get enough interest and development was slow due to testing wheel fitment. I'm currently running their 18" kit which is the first one they released. The website still lists pre-order but you can order directly through them if you reach out.

Does anyone have real world experience with these running big tires?
I’ve seen them I just haven’t found anyone who really uses them to chime in.

I feel ya 😂
King and kibbetech with a loaded chase rack and just paid Barth to build the new truck to make pretty damn close to 1k wheel.
It’s a never ending money pit but this is the first vehicle I’ve built that I’m not looking for another project at the same time. My 66 mustang just sits ever since I got my first TRX lol.

We started it at the beginning of 2024, after running two successful group buys for their 18" kit. I have since shut it down and wiped out the main post.

Yeah, a few members were helping do test fitment. See the link I posted just above in this comment. If I recall correctly, there was a final revision, but it still depended on certain wheel models. Nice thing about RB is they provide fitment guides that you can print out to test fitment before spending the money on a kit.

Yea all the UTVs and dbikes have been unmodded for years lol. 1k wheel with that suspension setup should be 1 of the baddest rigs out there man!

I honestly have a feeling the truck is going to be perfect on road and down right scary in the dirt haha

Oh ok that makes sense. I wouldve def been down for the 17” version. Then we’d have all the tire options in the world at our disposal.

Man, I would already have this kit if they didn't use drilled rotors. It weakens the rotors by providing stress risers in the form of holes and doesn't add any performance because modern brake pads don't off-gas anywhere in the same zip code as old pads.

No one in professional motorsport runs drilled rotors anymore, but companies still make them because people keep buying them, I guess because they look cool or people think they do something beneficial.

I'd love to see something like a KNS Brakes Kangaroo Paw rotor on a kit. I've run them on my track Corvette with great success, and the fact that you can't screw up and put the vanes on the wrong side is a big plus.

Kangaroo Paw was DBA's Thing I just believe KNS maybe relabels or bundles their stuff, not too sure as they have the same heat indicators as DBA as well.

Depending on usage, HPDE & autocross stuff I run blanks because they are cheap to toss away. All you really need is a good set of pads and stainless lines IMO.

BMW is still producing stuff with drilled only for some reason (newer M Cars).

I have seen tons of the power stop drilled stuff split around the drill holes. DBA i haven't seen that happen.
