Okay So this just came out and is really going to give the other companies a run for their money.

Alot of the big brake kits out there aside from Alcon & Wilwood are just over sea's kits that are Extremely overpriced. Now I don't know the exact specifics on where this is manufactured just yet.. but at $899 for a 6 piston front.. I don't think there is much arguing. compared to 3 to 4K from other brands..

Wow , sounds " too good to be true", But its definitely something ill be looking for in the future ( as my truck has almost 81,000 miles now), My question for now is ,Do they fit stock wheels?

Working on that now, they mention clears 18 inch wheels. Going to likely grab a set to try out for my truck as my partners has the Alcon Kit on it.

What the literal F??!!! I hope they're decent! I've owned Rough country stuff in the past and currently have a few LED pods and light bars on my Rex. They're def not the best out there but they're usually pretty solid. I wouldnt put their lift kits on my truck but may have to give these a try at that price point

Nick, any plans for a group buy? If so, we're in!

If anyone’s gonna put it to the test would be you..

If you want to try a set out I’ll help ya out the best I can price wise. These definitely have more wiggle room then those tires did lol

Thats amazing to see at that price point, wonder what pad it takes and if rotors interchange with a common EBC rotor etc ?

The pad looks like certainly something that may interchange as i see it has a pad sensor spot. I'd like to get one in my hands first to see.

For replacement rings I am sure we can get Paragon performance to whip something up as well.

I’m interested in your findings as well Nick! as you’re aware i’m in the market for new rotors. These are def more affordable than the alcons, which I still need a little more time to purchase 😂. Maybe these will change things?

I have one question:

There isn't much information available about this kit yet, making it nearly impossible to compare it to the other offerings. I'd greatly appreciate it if you could extract any of the following information from your RC contact!

Calipers:
  • What are the piston sizes and/or total brake caliper piston area?
  • What material are the calipers made of?
Brake Pads:
  • Is there an FMSI number that can be cross-referenced with the pads so we can determine other options that are usable with the kit?
  • What pad compound is used?
  • What is the replacement cost?
Rotors:
  • What are the diameter and thickness of the rotor outer rings?
    • I find it odd that they claim a larger diameter but still fit under 18" wheels. Every TRX brake kit that is still compatible with 18" wheels uses a smaller diameter but thicker rotors. I'm curious how they managed to get it to fit.
  • What material are the rotor hats made of?
  • What is the weight of the rotors?
  • What is the replacement cost?

Certainly understand all of these! It was just released this morning.

A lot of the other options are vague or do not have a TON of that info publicized.

I have a set coming here so I can knock out the weight, pads I will extract information from and find something suitable as a replacement.

They do not list any replacement parts yet but I imagine those will be launched and would still be cheaper then other kits replacement parts being that the kit it self is only $900.

Thanks, Nick! I greatly appreciate it.

Based on their claim of larger-diameter rotors, I'm going to assume the calipers won't work with factory rotors. Any additional info on that as well would be great!

I will add that the "dust shield" has to be cut so maybe that's how they fit?? I hate that F'in thing anyway as rocks are always getting stuck in it.

Yeah the Alcon Caliper is kind of "Low profile" but its heavy as hell and feels like it belongs on a dump truck which is fine lol

But we didn't have to cut for the Alcon. But looking at this caliper it looks pretty low profile as well. Rick you have 18s and 20s right? So between both of us we can probably gather some good info.

Yessir! We're running the 20s for the foreseeable future though
