Got rid of my 2020 Raptor because I couldn't stand the exhaust sound which I thought would grow on me when I bought it. So I learned my lesson, no 6 cylinder for me in an oversized, bad ass truck.

A sound only the legally deaf could appreciate.

After listening to that 6 cylinder exhaust, the real trx (6.2 SC) resale value just sky rocketed. Not that I am ever selling it, but jeez that sounds like a Honda accord.

We use to have American muscle… heavy metal cars/trucks, big engines, loud exhausts, the smell of oil and burnouts as long as you could see. It’s turning into plastic cars/trucks, who can be the quietest, stop at the gas station/charging station the least and who can make their tires last the longest. This country is going soft.

That’s bad. An in-line 6 can sound really good and that’s not it at all.

Keep in mind it's a test mule, testing something but not necessarily what you are looking/listing for. I wouldn't come to any conclusions on sound other than it won't scream freedom like the 6.2

That video seals the deal for me. Either another lower mileage TRX, or if going Turbo 6, back to a 37 Raptor…only because my last 3 trucks have been Ram and sometimes a change is needed. But I refuse to buy a neutered version of my truck.
