No, it can be expensive in ME, More often than not NH is by far cheaper to stock up then MA or ME. NH and ME are state distributors, in MA its local distributors. In MA its all about the store and the allocation the distributors are "willing" to give them. In ME the state decides who gets what and its more allocation based.

I might have helped his relative out during the Snowmageddon craziness with a load of firewood when folks were asking $3 a stick for what remained. I lose a few oak trees a year and have firewood coming out my ears so it was no trouble.

Anyhoo..... I get the feeling a top notch bottle or two is enroute to my place as we speak and I’m going to show off..... I mean, show it to you fellas when it arrives. Whether it's a Pot Stilled Pappy, the Double Eagle Very Rare 25 or even a Michter's 20, I'll post some pics.

My wife wanted a tasting of various American whiskies so I was looking for contrast. She ended up walking away with the Angel’s Envy Rye so I guess that’s her preference. I like tasting the complexity of the Jack against the Chestnut Farms long, sweet finish. Two completely different presentations from neighboring states. The Angel’s Envy might be the epitome of contrast with that spicy character of the rye with its long butterscotch finish. Damn I love good whiskey.

You will probably have to do a little research on what site will deliver to you. Luckily, Empirewine.com is local to me and they give a 15% discount on case purchases. I usually only buy a case if it's something a gf really likes.....my current loves the Hard Chardonnay from 19 crimes. The place is only 40 mins from my crib in the boonies, so I don't mind going once a week or so. I can see how delivery would be ideal given where you live though! Make sure your tank of a pooch isn't prowling around when the UPS dude is carrying your case to the door! That would be a sad day seeing that brown liquid run all over your porch as all you see is assholes and elbows running back to the delivery truck with something in chase! Lol!
