Delivery and First Service Checklist

Theres a few checklists out now I think. The OG one i think had the fuse box on it and had pictures from the issues thread.

These are two page list that I got back in 2021 but still it’s good to have it. Somehow the dick put a watermark over it and it’s hard to read but it’s worth taking a look at.

Anyone have the checklist without the watermark?

Are a lot of these issues still happening with the 2023's? Like the missing or untightened bolts

I haven't found any issues with my 23 yet.

Did you get Red Stitched handles (if selected, for upper “Jesus” Handles front/rear?), and or have all rear accent lighting present (upper/middle/lower)?

Pretty sure they dropped dashboard under-led’s for 23..

Until it’s dark out, I can’t see anything other than the door LED’s as remotely useful….

Two pix: before middle LED fixed (added with new harness), and after (right rear), + work order.

LOL my 23 are missing the led's as well, but after looking at your night pictures, i may prefer them missing :ROFLMAO:

I just took delivery of my level 2 '23 TRX and love it. I am missing the leather grips on the rear handles am I supposed to have those? I see the two dash LEDs are missing as well but dont want to rip the dash apart.. I also checked the fuses like others mentioned to do and no joke I think EVERY single fuse was no seated properly or all the way down...

Yup missing on all 23 models

I pickup my 23 next week and was planning on driving it home 400 miles (picking up out of state). These lists are unreal. Super thankful to those that documented all of this. But now I am not nearly as excited to get this truck if these kind of QC and safety concerns are still happening in this magnitude. Did all these issues show up on a SINGLE truck? If so that is incredibly shocking on RAMs part. Better get that life insurance policy figured out before I hit the road. Jeez. Regarding the "missing" LEDs in the dash... are they in the dash or the doors? All TRX should have them for 23? Or just certain trims? Mine is level 2.

That list gives people the wrong impression, especially in 2023. Even if only one single person had some oddball failure on a truck built 2.5 years ago, it went on there (and is still on there). A couple things proved to be somewhat widespread, but most of the stuff wasn’t.

Not saying you shouldn’t look it over like you would any new vehicle. But to stress out about anything and everything that ever broke once is just stupid.

Fair enough. Which issues has your 21 had?

My exhaust tips were crooked. Took about 2 minutes to correct. And I adjusted the hood a bit. Another 2 minute job. Of course I also have the clunk, and a rear shock had to be replaced under warranty because it was creaking.

Overall not bad, especially for a first year truck. Certainly nothing like you’d expect after reading the “issues list” or other complaints on the forum.

Was there a final answer on the door and dash led lighting? Mine (‘23) doesn’t have it. Is this something I should have fixed at the next service or do the ‘23 not get them? Thanks!

Thats a good question because mine doesn't have them as well and wondering if I should ask for them to be installed?
