TRX DEALER PICKUP CHECK LIST
Dealer Instructions:
1 Leave the spare tire mounted underneath the truck – Removing Spare Tire Carrier
2 Include any papers that were shipped with the truck, i.e. Window Sticker, build sheet, etc.
3 A copy of the Dealer Options Report
4 Minimal Dealer Prep – Having ceramic coated, i.e. no washing or detailing
5 Witness a thorough PDI to check for Known Issues below, overall inspection and to get to know
the DINOSAUR
Known Customer’s Issues to Date:
1 Oil leak – Oil Temperature Sensor
2 Oil leak – Oil Cooler Line Fitting not correctly seated, missing and loose fittings
3 Oil leak – Missing front Differential bolt
4 Check all Oil Levels – Transfer case and Front Differential found low
4.1 Front Differential 4.2 Rear Differential 4.3 Transfer Case 4.4 Engine Oil
4.5 Engine Coolant
4.6 Intercooler Coolant 4.7 Brake Fluid
5 Vacuum line failure
6 Wiring harness not properly secured rubbing on oil filter

I appreciate the latest list. I’ll be asking my dealer to go through this. I’ve got a 700 mile trip home when the truck shows up, so I’d rather be safe than sorry.

Question and sorry i didn’t look thru all the posts her cause i’m at the dealer now picking up and i noticed one of the issues that was mentioned by a member. Some seat leather looks great and my passenger and most of the back seats only on the bottom the leather looks shitty. I am gonna have them write it up as noticed by them but what have people been doing to get this handled? Thanks in advance

I haven’t checked the list, but does it include checking over all the leather pieces to make sure they are the same material? There was a FB post where someone got two different head rests.

It seems like that is the case or it almost looks like it was shit quality or out in the sun almost old and dried out looking

Good lord I bought mine a few weeks ago and didn't realize there was more than the incompletely seated fuses, which can be added to the list! Not even sure how to approach them now - through service at 1k oil change?

Hey all, just making sure the "TRX ISSUES LIST" hasn't been updated since 06/09/2021? I want to make sure I have the most current list because my truck is supposed to show up in the next 2 weeks. Looks like 51 issues on the list, but I feel like there's been more issues reported since then that multiple members have reported(ie. the clunk/spline issue, disconnected trans line, etc). If there is a more current list, please let me know, thanks all!

Nothing really knew has happened to be added. I usually get people to message me stuff and nothing hasn't been out of the norm of issues. I will say that I would take photos of your TRX when you take delivery of it. I just went thru 6 months of back and forth with Ram dealers and having photos of the damage on my TRX saved my bacon

Dealer said they wouldn’t use this list. So I offered to pay shop rate to give it a look over using this list.
Since I’ll be driving the 1750+ miles home. In the winter through the snow.

Anything else that I should add? About to print it off.

Let me know what they charge you to do the PDI, I should be right behind you. Hopefully, my dealer won't charge me.
