Cornerstone performance air intake

CPS does make some lofty claims about the intake on there site. Curious if they have any evidence to back it up. The afe site claims certain percent flow increase and a byproduct of HP gains. The cps seems to be extremely pointed “2 psi over competitors “ …. That’s a fairly high bar to say you make that much more over any other intake.

Makes me think of the old supplement companies when they would have arbitrary percents of gains on the outside of creatine bottles 342% increase in bench press!!!

Fully understand that an intake is a super small part of the equation when it comes to making more power, but since we are arguing pennies why not 😂🤣
  • “15whp & 13ft.pound GAIN over the stock intake with no limiters turned off!
  • Picked up 2PSI of boost over the competitors intake on a modified TRX.
  • 2-5* Intake air temps over ambient
  • 1 MPG increase at 75mph over the stock intake
  • 30* + IAT drop over the stock intake”
Yeah I read that as well and not sure I believe those figures. You buy an intake for the whine and look, if you think you’re going to feel the hp increase (which is minimal let’s be honest), you’re buying it for the wrong reason.

I had the AFE and it was also a good product , but I wanted more whine , I have it now

Sounds like you got it. Skinny tube pulls air in from the hood scoop to run to the filter and big tube sucks it into the engine, pretty simple.
The big tube can only flow as much air from the filter as can flow through the skinny tube to the filter. The inlet to the filter housing is a restriction.

I do like mine but, I did customize it to suit me better I pull air from my grill not the hood also changed the air filler to AFE dry filler sounds so much better also added a bracket to hold it up since not using the box or skinny tube
I have a k and n intake for sale lol
once I make a intake for my truck this cps will be for sale its powder coated blue lol

This why I will build a jmb style intake twin filler on the passenger side

only down side is rain for me but I don't drive in the rain lol I have a duramax for that

Finally got my truck done too wheels exhaust and accents

I’m willing to bet discontinued. They don’t even have it listed on their website anymore.
