Cornerstone performance air intake

Are you on back order or waiting for the website to change from coming soon to in stock? A few sellers said it would be best to pre order because cornerstone will ship to back order (if they are make them) before they do regular orders. It sort of sounds like a sale pitch to me.

Yeah fuck that dude. With no guarantee of when CPS will have them in stock from the horse’s mouth itself, I’m not giving my money to a 3rd party. I’ve just been checking their website.

In past calls, he has stated that they wouldn’t all sell out right away and I should be able to order directly from CPS, but who knows.

Also, I bet the price will increase once they are back in stock. From talking to them, sounds like the issue is finding a fabricator to make them for a profit….

Wait for the cornerstone and get what you want, it’s worth it. It’s the best of both worlds, uses hood scoops, you get the loud whine like a bwoody and opens up the engine bay. The huge piece of plastic, like the stock intake, just didn’t do it for me.

It is from someone in sales at cornerstone. They won’t put a name in the email for some reason. I hope they aren’t making this up, lol.

They might have an easier time turning a profit if they didn't want 700 for a couple bills in pipe. Nice setup but this TRX tax is bullshit!

It appears to be a hot item, surprised another company doesn’t “borrow” the design and develop an open air intake using the intake scoops.

Last I talked to CPS, he said was having a hard time finding a fabricator to make them for less than CPS sale price

Sometimes fabrication shops look at the end price and pull all the profit margin because they know it is too high. Not saying it's right but something that can happen and never would if people didn't go more than 15% over what it cost them to bring to market max.

You’re going to be disappointed. I have been talking with beefcake racing for the past couple days and emailing cornerstone and I was convinced into buying it. I am excited for it. They did say if i wait longer than the estimated time frame I can request a refund, but everyone I’ve asked said around two months for the air intakes.

Ok! Good luck to you! I just don’t want them to have my money for that long. CPS has been promising a month or 2 since December! I haven’t done my monthly update call yet though this month haha. The guy at CPS sounded dejected when I called him a few weeks ago lol.

Well. My ordered was canceled from the seller I bought the cornerstone from! They pretty much told me that cornerstone is not making them anymore and if they do it will be over five months. I’m thinking about the JMB air intake now. Really wanted the cornerstone but it seems that was too good to be true!

Man that sucks. Jmb would be my second pick, if I didn’t have the cornerstone. It will have a similar whine as the cornerstone just not use the hood scoops. Love the double filter too.

I do hate to lose the hood scoops, but it really is whatever now. The double filters is a big plus with this system tho like you said! I also can get it in a bright gold powered coating color! And i can get it faster than 8 months lol!

Once you receive and install the JMB, let us know how you like it. The additional whine is the best and never gets old.

I now have the JMB and like that it fills the space and its color matched, but the BWoody was also a nice piece. After driving with both for a bit I think the BWoody is actually louder, but both scream so most probably wouldn't tell the difference.

Have you noticed an increase in IAT temps? It doesn’t use the hood scoops so I am wondering if the temps run hotter than the competitors? I do love the huge pipe (5 inch I think)
