I know you guys have been waiting patiently to see our fabricated battery box for the TRX and so here is a sneak peek at the prototype. Keep in mind this is version 3 of our prototype that we have cut, modified and welded a few times but it should still give you an idea of the amount of thought...

Install will be relatively easy. If you can remove your factory battery box, you can install this kit. Detailed installation guide included with this kit. The battery box is required to mount the compressor. We may come out with a compressor mount in the future that doesn’t require this but for now, this is all we offer. Air tank mounts up above the passenger side inner fender and the compressor mounts just forward of the battery above the relay box.

I have received the kit. The components appear to be of the highest quality. The instructions are linear, but pictures of each finish installed unit would really be helpful. The black and white reduced and printed progress photos might be better if they were “ on line” so they could be analyzed. Maybe a picture of the assembly assembled, but not installed might prove helpful. I am super impressed with this piece of art. Excellent

received mine about 30 days ago. Still sealed in box , didnt even check to see if everything i ordered is there but I trust the shipper. Between the kids vacation with several trips out the country and the heat 105F+(im in AZ and truck would not fit in the garage) havent had the time or the will to install it. Can you take some pics once installed? Also, if you feel like some parts of the install needs special attention or a certain way to do it please mention it in this thread. Thank you

First of all, thank you for the order and kind words. You bring up some valid concerns with the quality of the photos included with the installation guide and I agree we can do better. I will get some better photos to share of each component assembled but not installed as you suggested as I agree this would help with understanding how everything goes together.

We are also working on getting our installation guides added to our website and hopefully will have that completed soon.

Yeah, this kit is bad ass, stellar quality.
The instructions seem straight forward, I do miss color pictures (even if it’s in crayon

).
I received the Kit about mid June and demo began on our home a week later. My shop tools are in a POD somewhere in storage. I can’t wait to get our home complete so I can get back to some projects. Maybe November

. Good news, the TRX will fit in the new garage this time around.

Thanks Bill. Again superior fabrication, aerospace quality. A few pictures could help me piece this together and sort out “extra parts included but not required” and what to do with the relocated windshield washer reservoir that is a bit in the way of the storage tank. I missed the description on how to move that over in my dry run yesterday.

Are they required for every installation and come with every order? if yes, could you post a pic of how the parts look like to finally check what you sent and make sure they were included?

Only required if you have our Behind the Grille kit installed. Plan was to include them in every kit but unfortunately did not make it into the first 25 kits that shipped.

Here's some pics of the system assembled off the truck so you can see how it all goes together a little better. Don't mind the mini battery in the box. It's just there to keep the assembly on the step stool.... lol

So, I think this is very cool... even if I don't' need one. But just a super quick thought as it might be a small source of confusion for people. The 'quick connect' hose coming off the tank. Why would it not be reversed (and shorter)? 90 degree on the quick disconnect, straight on the tank -even if the tank fitting might need 10-15 degrees of ccw rotaction? I'm sure its a fitment issue etc... But as an engineer, it seems the shorter path with no low point might make more sense?

It’s a fitment issue with where the tank mounts under the hood. Also, the tank comes with 90’s pre-installed and it’s recommended that you don’t remove them from the tank.

I knew there was a good reason! Kit looks awesome. While I want one, I wish I needed it more. Congrats on the great products.

Fast Service, came two days ago, and installed yesterday, snug [precision?] fitment, but no issues. This weekend the rest goes in!
