Best Tonneau cover?

I ordered a Pace Edwards Jackrabbit cover this weekend.... (Looks like the one in the picture below) It arrived today and I just finished the install. The installation instructions "suck"... But after a hour of trying to follow them, I tossed them aside and just figured it out myself.... (Real men don't need any stinking instructions anyway)

Looks good, fit perfectly, seems tight and works as advertised.... Now I'll see how it holds up.

For those who got the Rough Country low profile, tri-fold, can you confirm this is the correct product number: 47320550? There are a few hard folds floating out there and it's confusing as to what fits... Thanks, bros

I went with the BakFlip MX4 from @Johnny@JustBoltOns at JustBoltOns. They have a coupon code for forum members for a nice discount, and they have the best customer service around! Just message him for a coupon code and he'll hook you up.

The tri-fold installs real easy, sits low profile, and folds all the way up against the rear window to give you full bed access when you need it. I have the digital rear view mirror, so it's like it isn't even there when folded up!

Thank you, I appreciate the tag. Forum code is RAMTRX for anyone interested. :) I also appreciate the very honest feedback. Thank you

Does anyone with the Bak X4s have the rambar? More and more i think i want it. I already have the X4s and like above i had one defective top but now my second one looks perfect. I keep debating the Rambar but i like the way it looks with the Hydro blue soooo i think it is time if it fits with my bedcover.
Did you ever end up doing this? works?

I am a fan of the Retrax Powertrax Pro covers. Your choice of MX or the XR with slotted rails.

Johnny at justboltons can get them ordered for you as well. I’ve used them on my other trucks.

You lose a little bed space with the cannister. But you gain a slick retractable bed cover that opens and closes with your headrest garage door opener controls or key fob and it glides on ball bearings. It’s super high quality stuff and looks great.

What do you guys recommend for a hard tonneau cover....I had the Ford OEM on my Raptor but my Ram does not have it....I'm seeing a ton of options....any recommendations?
DiamondbackHD. Never thought about it again after I got it on.

I haven’t to be honest but it will fit. I’m positive of it. I had the same cover just older model on my 2018 Ram Rebel and also had a go rhino sport 2.0 which it passed with minimal rubbing

I don’t have a better picture of it but this was the set up and like i said above it barely rubs on both sides as the rolled up cover gets to it.

Does your HD diamondback cover stick out a little in the middle? I contacted DB and all my measurements are the correct cover. They are willing to send another one but I don’t know if it’s worth it for the same outcome.

Mine is similar. the middle section sticks out on the bottom more than the front/back sections. They alight perfect lengthwise. It never bothered me, but I see it now. I did not install the cleats on the Diamondback, so it is flatter Appearing along the cover.

Thank you. That’s what I thought. They are not the easiest to install and I would rather not take it off and have them ship me a new one for the same outcome. It doesn’t bother me too much lol. I have a ram Rebel before this with the rambox and it was all perfect. DB said it’s different with our normal bed.

Had a bakflip F1 on my raptor no issues think I might do the same mine my truck comes in...prob add the foldable this time

I had the Undercover AmorFlex on my Raptor and was very happy with it. I just ordered one from Johnny@ justboltons for the TRX so I will be ready whenever the truck may show up.

I ordered the retrax with the t channel rails. It’s here before my TRX is. Have had it before and most of my friends do as well. I used to run the roll up types like truxedo but those aren’t as well made in my experience.

I struggled with this for a long time. Originally ordered OEM which is not the best. Dust and water get in, catches wind like a ships sail. Needed something better.

I wanted light weight. Why weigh down a performance truck? Couldn’t accept losing bed volume, so no retrax style covers, besides they are heavier. Finally choose to go with Lomax/weathertech. Went with weathertech (made by lomex) to get weathertechs lifetime warranty.

Ordered from Johny at Just Bolt Ons. Cover shipped right away. Nicely boxed and well protected. Installed it yesterday. Super easy. Only tools needed were a 1/2” wrench, plastic clamp and a beer. Was done before finishing the beer, and I drink fast.
Could you possibly post a pic or two of your truck with the cover?

Do NOT buy the Retrax Pro. Worst purchase I’ve ever made. This piece of chit keeps coming off the railings and whoever designed the clamps needs shot.
I’ve had a few of the different brands, the Retrax Pro is a good one. It also fits if you have The Ram Bar.

Pace Edwards/Leer retractable cover. What I have.

American made btw - Centralia, WA (many covers aren't)

I installed myself and works great.

I ordered from JustBoltOns and because I live in Washington I received it within 2 days after order.

One of the pricier covers but worth it.

NO, this thing is a piece of chit. Keeps coming off the rollers. DO NOT BUY
