DEAL $9000 off MSRP is back @ Granger Motors

Take a hike Classicdrive. There is no activism here. I am calling out RAM bullshit where I see it. I have never bought a chrysler product my entire life and told myself I never would after they were bailed out by the American Taxpayer in 2007-2008. Here is where I admit that I made mistake, I went out on a limb because I am a car/truck enthusiast and placed an order for a TRX. Lesson learned. Dumb mistake. I have spend most of my hard-earned money on Ford products with a few Japanese cars/trucks mixed in, avoiding the ill-run and government supported American auto companies. The process here isn't difficult. The factory knows what products/items are missing to complete my build or any other person's build. The same can be said about why trucks are spending months in lots awaiting delivery to the dealership. Someone with Ram or Stellantis or Granger should step up and tell the customer what the hell is going on with their truck. This isn't brain surgery, someone knows what the hell is going on. It comes down to a lack of clear and concise communication to the person footing the bill. Its annoying, and is absolutely atrocious customer service. Stop passing the buck and step up Granger/RAM/Stellantis, what is the secret they are trying to hide? Maybe its their incompetence.
To think that ford isn’t having these exact problems is crazy. Know anyone waiting for their bronco?!?! I work in power sports and it’s the same. Toyota same, GM the same. It’s really no difference. I think what Zack was saying is StellNtis has not been the best when it comes to getting information to dealers and customers. Everyone is struggling shipping units right now even if some companies are better at getting you more accurate information. It’s All a reall hummer for EVERYONE not just the guys waiting for trucks. Zack and his team are doing what they can with the information they have available, they can’t fix Stellantis, the trucking industry and supply base

I appreciate the support, but I want everyone to know that I do think Zach and his team are trying to figure out what is going on, and the push Ram for resultion. He has been communicating with me via DM re his efforts and I do take him at his word. If it were to the contrary, trust me, you would/will know. Hopefully, we'll have some answers sometime next week. Think of it as taking one for the team. Out of 300 or so orders, there has to be a few that get messed up. Mine's screwed up so yours will be fine.

My 2021 spring bronco order , with a different dealer is still not fulfilled. Ford has allocations on customer orders, while Ram doesnt. Read https://www.fordraptorforum.com/ to see what shady dealers are doing to Raptor orders placed (adding ADM after delivery on top of the negotiated price) and how hard is to get one "Took over 70+ dealer calls, but I finally found a late leftover 2022 allocation at MSRP last week at a dealer in Mississippi. Options I chose are 37 inch, Oxford white, Blue seats, moonroof. Total MSRP came to $84,965. Dealer said it should be about 5 months to delivery. This will be my 3rd raptor, 1st was a 2018 lightning blue, 2nd was a 2020 Velocity Blue, but decided to go with Oxford white on this new one." 70 calls to find one dealer with allocation when all you have to worry about is few weeks wait on a 10k bellow MSRP similar truck. You dont know how good you got it my friend.
If it wouldve been Granger's fault for the delay I wouldve called him out before you did. I told you who's fault is for the trucks being stuck in delivery. Jeep, Ram, Dodge they are all delayed by weeks.. Start picketing the unions to make your voice heard.

From the Raptor forum:

I recall your original post from last year about an invoice order. What happened with this order? Did the dealer balk?

The dealer balked, pretty disappointing to be honest. Had bought my last raptor from them and it was a great experience. But this time they let me down. Even a local dealer here in New Mexico that I have bought 4+ vehicles from wouldn't help me.

I'm not trying to one up you but I have a first day reservation (July 2020) and first day order (Jan 2021) on a Bronco and still don't have one. I'm not saying Ford is free from problems. I just appreciate and expect information/updates and real details about whats going on. I've gotten more from Ford and my local dealer that I've ever received from Ram. I expect that most people can deal with delays if they understand what's delaying their build (Bronco-hardtop, tow package, sasquatch package, etc etc,). Ram can't or won't do that. I've also never been asked to deposit money on a build other than the TRX with Ram....and still have signed purchase agreements with Ford. They all have issues....I get it. I just wouldn't ever do this again with Ram. I should have trusted my intuition. IMO the issue is the lack of consistency with dealers throughout the country. Markets are different but it's self-defeating for the manufacturers to deliver to dealers with vastly different strategies and selling prices to the public....case in point---people from all over flying in to buy a truck in DesMoines Iowa.

Dude quit your whining and do something about it. Cancel your order and go buy a Raptor. See how long see how long that takes. I waited 8 months for my TRX and it sucked, but it was worth it. My buddy paid ADM just to order a Raptor from another dealer and is expected to wait just as long.

Hello, I am doing a promotion right now for 3K under MSRP.. For orders

Kind of rude to advertise on another dealer’s thread, don’t you think? Start your own if you want to advertise a deal.

How did you get to Granger from the airpot? Uber?

I believe other people have said that granger coordinates transportation for buyers flying in…..unless that’s changed.

I live in Des Moines by the airport, if any of you are flying in to get your truck from Granger and I’m available, I’d be more than happy to take you to get your truck in my TRX. Bout a 30 minute drive to the dealership from the airport. PM me

This should be no surprise to anyone that there are long lead times on a hot wanted item. It doesn’t matter if you buy a Ford, Chevy or for that matter a couch. Friends are waiting 10 months on new furniture. Trying to blame Stellantis, or grainger is pointless. Sure, some of these lead times and build dates don’t make sense, but it is definitely not the dealers fault. If you really want one bad enough and don’t want to wait, there are many available. If you want a good deal like 9k off sticker, deal with the lead times or move on

They picked me up, on time, it was great!!

Thanks, yall! I was planning on shipping, but after going a few days without a vehicle, getting some quotes higher than I wanted, and finding out it was going to be a weeklong process to ship, I decided to fly up and drive it back. Sent Amanda and Shelby in Finance an email this morning, but I know they're closed. I just wanted to make sure I had what I needed with me so I don't end up in Iowa without a truck to drive back ;)

We can deal with lead times, as long as it is justified. It doesn’t excuse delivering trucks out of order. There’s no reason why one truck should sit at a rail yard for over a month while others arrive later and leave before.

Oh Shit.. We got the forum Police here!! whoop whoop!

It's not like she's shit talking the OP.... Just throwing out a local option if needed.
Which is exactly what I did.... Yeah, there are dealers with great under MSRP deals, But what do you do when you fly in, and discover issues, they didn't notice? Fly home and wait another 6 months?

She is a great person to deal with, and not stepping on anyone's toes IMO.....

These are not the droids you're looking for!

Lol. Not the forum police. Just wouldn’t like it if it was my thread. You must be the kind of person who would interrupt a girl scout in the middle of a cookie sale with your own cookie deal. Gotta get that $$ right?! 👊😄

On the internet, An adult can just skip past a thread or post... I guess that's the same as yelling at Girl Scout patrons store-front. :ROFLMAO:

This has now gone way farther than it should have and very off topic. I apologize for my contribution to the tangent. Moving on…
