DEAL $9000 off MSRP is back @ Granger Motors

An updated POC from Granger would tell you or the summary PDF that Zach posts periodically. If you are past KZP you should have an ETA. If you’re still KZP, it might be time to be a squeakier wheel with Ram.
Zach just looked it up. Been at sterling heights since 3/9 body vender. Zero movement since then still kzp.

Some of us have been looking into Ravelco anti theft installation. [email protected] said they have reached out to Grainger (and got no response) to do installs since there is no convenient location for many of us to get this done. Any chance you can help with this as this would be a great service and big help to us.
We've been scaling back to get our aftermarket install quality better and train staff. I want to make sure I can deliver a quality experience and I'm not confident we have the process in place to do that.

Not trying to pick a fight here, because I agree that this is the way it SHOULD work, but what should the dealer do when they use their lines of communication to Ram to get information and Ram gives them 1) an unhelpful generic response, 2) the cold shoulder, or 3) the finger?
What you say is real. I get it. The power lies with the consumer. Cancel orders, go somewhere else, buy a different brand or don't buy anything at all until the service/market/supply chain improves. It won't be long until the dealers are cut out entirely. They may exist to service vehicles and sell used units but I believe they soon will not sell new cars/trucks. Why is it fair for all of these dealerships, including Granger, to ask for deposits on a truck they really have no clue when it will be produced? If these trucks are as popular as they seem the dealer should have no difficulty selling it if the customer backs out. In fact, they can probably sell it for much more than the 9k off MSRP they have promised us. My order wasn't placed that long ago but I've already seen delays...back to D from D1 and with no specific info on why. Zach, if you aim to improve the customer experience why not make the deposit on the TRX fully refundable for those who are sick of the stupid games? Give your customers specific information regarding the status of their build. Most people can handle waiting if they know WHY and WHAT is going on with their $90k truck.

Last week, Granger told me it'd be early April delivery but no ETA, yesterday Ramchat told me ETA is April 11th-19th. Hoping nothing changes because I'm so ready and excited for this truck. Lol

Just my 2 cents, but even as the consumer - I don’t feel like I should expect to have my cake and eat it too. A lot of the posts in this thread are about the desire for a personal and catered experience with the dealer. The expectation for proactive updates and dealership policy changes and even the wish for the dealership to control 3rd party influences - they all cost something. Whether it is the actual paycheck of the employee (who is just like one of us, trying to pay the bills and enjoy life), or the time and personal efforts that go into the delivery of such a customer experience - it all costs something. Sure, things could always be better, perfect even. But in my mind, this is all part of the experience. Greater things to be concerned about and I count my blessings that I have the opportunity to experience any of this. Caveat, not saying there aren’t shitty things happening like getting vehicles stolen or riding the D status train, just hoping to provide another point for consideration.

I'd think Granger would happily refund the deposit in exchange for an MSRP lot sale, but I suspect the customer-order provisions of the build wouldn't permit that.

I know this is frustrating for a lot of people but some of these issues is because we are trying to get a great deal on this truck. Chrysler is not going to allocate hundreds of orders to one dealer at one time. If you ordered off a dealer who has only sold a few, the order would have been built. I knew going to grainger was going to be a wait with the possibility I may not even see it. I was willing to take that chance for 9k savings. Eventually these will get built and we will see out trucks, but it is going to take time.

I hear you. I wish I had a better source of information and I've beat my head against the wall trying to get better reasons as to why without success.

I had a 4-4 to 4-15 ETA to Gtanger. Was told today it’s now 4-11 to 4-25. Regardless it’ll get there when it gets there. I’m more concerned how long it’ll take for a transport truck to pick it up and drop it off in my driveway. At least it’s built😁

Zach, if you aim to improve the customer experience why not make the deposit on the TRX fully refundable for those who are sick of the stupid games? Give your customers specific information regarding the status of their build. Most people can handle waiting if they know WHY and WHAT is going on with their $90k truck. When I ordered, the representations were "they are building by order date" and "all of of our June July and August orders will be delivered by December." They were based on information relayed by the Regional Rep, but obviously they turned out not to be true. I do think from a customer experience stand point an offer to return deposits should have been made at that time. But it does cut both ways. I am sure Granger and Ram would prefer to sell me my TRX at the new $92k msrp, but because of the deposit and the signed POC they are committed to sell it to me at $77k. And in any event, I am pot committed now - too late to even think about canceling. 262 days. Still undelivered. Sitting in a railyard in MO since 2/23. Would be nice to conclude this process and finally get the truck. But hey, at the end of the day, the sun is shining, it's Friday, I am still upright, and it's just a truck.
Your journey throughout this process is just ridiculous. I do not believe for a second that the dealership is without fault.

It wouldn't take much for Zach and the dealership to call corporate and basically say,
"WTF?!! I've had a customer sitting for almost 9 months since order and he's on the last leg to get here and his truck is sitting out on the rail lot waiting to be picked up by truck for over a month? I can see one of my shit tradesman trucks sitting for a month, but this is a $90k truck??!!". It's like they are trolling you at this point.

I'm a close second. Mine sat for over a month after the build in the assembly lot with a July order date and there's no telling when it arrives. But with yours being so close to being delivered and off the rail... I'd be fuming....

Got the same news today from Ram chat. Can’t complain though, because like you said the truck is at least built.

My ETA window got pushed AGAIN now 4/11 to 4/18. I do, however, appreciate the Granger team trying to figure out what is going on.

263 days since ordering.
Built and released from SHAP ON 2/17
Still sitting in the railyard in Missouri since 2/23
ETA HX - 2/22- 3/9; 3/7 - 3/21; 3/15 - 3/21; No ETA; 3/21-3/29; No ETA; 3/29 - 4/6; 4/4 - 4/18,
4/1-4/18, and 4/11-4/18.
Hopefully you'll get comped, at a minimum,.a full paint correction detail once it comes in. No telling the condition of the surface after all this time.

You are not incorrect- I do get pissed pretty much every day. Especially seeing trucks built after mine arrive and get picked-up at Granger. To me, the truck is super important. To eveyone else, its just one truck out of 10,000. Also, it does bother me hearing "there's nothing we can do." That is simply incorrect. As you alluded to, the more accurate response is, "there is nothing we WILL do." To his credit I know Zach and his team have reached out to their Regional Rep, but I am not sure the Rep really gives a shit. There is plenty Ram and the Rep can do, they just don't want to. In fact, @RamCares DM's to my @whereismytrx Twitter account are actually extremely condescending "we suggest you take some time and read our prior response..." Almost comical really.
Zach.......why don't you give all of us some insight and transparency. Whats going on with his truck and all of the rest of our trucks? Why are the regional reps and RAMCHAT useless and condescending? Zach, you and Granger are the face of RAM. If any of us on here ran our businesses like RAM (and Granger....as you are a direct subsidiary) and lacked customer service and communication on a product that costs over $90k we wouldn't be in business long. Ram is fortunate to have a coveted product that most of us are willing to overlook the lack of service.......for now. The vague, unhelpful answers are a slap in the face. To quote Neenah....to Granger and RAM it's just another truck, to us its a prized posession that we've worked our asses off to afford/get. All it would take is some consistent communication with details about whats going on with our trucks to be satisfied.....in the big scheme of things this isn't difficult. Its the waiting without any reason/communication that's crappy.

I've been in direct contact with @Neenah about his truck.

I have 2 manufacturers. Ford and Stellantis. I've put the same effort forth with Both and I can without hesitation tell you that I have a significantly harder time getting an answer from Stellantis on these issues in a timely manner. I'm not sure if it's the hierarchy of command, the lack of transparency within the company, etc. But all of my efforts have been fruitless.

I would pass on any information if I had it, I can't get it though. Whether one off issues like this or 4-6 months ago with commodity issues. We've always been as upfront as possible with information we've received.

Don’t blame you for being frustrated. I am and haven’t gone through the delivery issues you have. At least not yet

My fear at this point is the truck was damaged. All speculation, but there has to be a reason why it cant be delivered. If it were a dead battery or running out of gas, those situations should have fixed by now. I am confident Zach and his team are trying their best to get some answers from Ram.
you are not the only one waiting since end of February , beginning of March. Head over to wrangler JL forum and see ppl stuck in KZT since end of January. Why do you think there's something wrong with your TRX? Even in this forum you have ppl waiting in KZT since mid February.

What would you like Zach to tell you over what you know or what you can find out searching www.jlwranglerforums.com, www.5thgenrams.com, FB groups for dodge/ram or wranglers etc? EVERYONE is delayed. Dealers have no control over what trucks get delivered. Rumor has it unions deal with a drivers shortage but are stopping Stellantis to hire extra companies to pick up the trucks and deliver to the dealers. Dealers or customers cant just go and pick a truck of the lot. As another dealer said, Stellantis stopped any incentives for volume dealers and the most important thing for a dealer is customer satisfaction survey. I'm sure Zach or any dealer would love to deliver all their trucks at once get a perfect dealer rating and move on. RAMchat is nothing more than min wage CSR and all they do is read of a script. How are they "condescending" when all you get is a status? I have a truck on order , stuck in delivery since march 1st..I talked to RAM CSR EVERY day since march 1st and I never felt I was disrespected or talked down when provided a dealer ETA. My ETA got pushed 5-6 times as well. Last ETA is April 18th which puts me at almost 50 days of waiting in shipping.
If you are so upset with Stellantis, Zack, Ram, Ram CSR just buy a different brand or off the lot.

Take a hike Classicdrive. There is no activism here. I am calling out RAM bullshit where I see it. I have never bought a chrysler product my entire life and told myself I never would after they were bailed out by the American Taxpayer in 2007-2008. Here is where I admit that I made mistake, I went out on a limb because I am a car/truck enthusiast and placed an order for a TRX. Lesson learned. Dumb mistake. I have spend most of my hard-earned money on Ford products with a few Japanese cars/trucks mixed in, avoiding the ill-run and government supported American auto companies. The process here isn't difficult. The factory knows what products/items are missing to complete my build or any other person's build. The same can be said about why trucks are spending months in lots awaiting delivery to the dealership. Someone with Ram or Stellantis or Granger should step up and tell the customer what the hell is going on with their truck. This isn't brain surgery, someone knows what the hell is going on. It comes down to a lack of clear and concise communication to the person footing the bill. Its annoying, and is absolutely atrocious customer service. Stop passing the buck and step up Granger/RAM/Stellantis, what is the secret they are trying to hide? Maybe its their incompetence.

From my understanding Ford only survived the 2008 crash because they were in WORSE shape than GM and Chrysler and had basically mortgaged everything to avoid bankruptcy prior to the 2008 market collapse. So in a way Ford was just luckier. Also, I’ve read how Henry Ford used to treat workers and “persuade” those who don’t fall into line. My point-all older companies seem to have some bad history and drawing the line between Ford vs GM vs Stellantis seems pretty arbitrary at this point. I try to support American car companies…but the lines are very blurred since these companies are global like buying a Chevy made in Mexico vs. a Toyota built in America.
