DEAL $9000 off MSRP is back @ Granger Motors

@Claasicdrive is right. All of these TRXs come to a railyard in Kansas City (about 8 miles from my house) where they sit until a transport picks them up and takes them to Granger Iowa and I am sure there is a rhyme and reason as to when they get plucked for transport, but no one knows for sure. They can sit for weeks or a month or more from what I can tell.

My estimated delivery window has now changed yet AGAIN!
Initial was 2/14 - 2/24, which was then moved to 2/21 - 3/4, and now 2/28 - 3/14. I even talked to Amanda last week and she stated normally after it's moved once, it normally follows that initial reschedule. Guess I'm outside of the norm AGAIN!
Initially ordered 6/16/21 so by the time I get it, if I get it, it will be 9 months or more. My only positive is that I get to miss driving it on snow/ salt covered roads here in MN. But, DAMMIT, get me my truck!!!!

I'm annoyed my 10/06 order is still sitting in D1, can't imagine the frustration of being a June order and still waiting.

do you think the width of our trucks limit what trains or spots on the train they can even get on?

1 more factor against us! :(
Unless rail cars have changed....The only factor constricting them on a train would be height. They would need to be top loaded. Most of the bi-level or tri-level cars are 5'3"-5"6" or so on the bottom level.

My order date 12/07/2021 with 249xxx VIN, and no movement at all. Still D status, yet many with later order dates getting built. Not sure what the scoop is.

It's a painful fact that we could go stare at our trucks through a fence for weeks before it's sent hundreds of miles away to the dealer.

We have had a huge delay in transport drivers. The transportation company is a union company and they've had issues getting the labor to show up and deliver the trucks. We have over 175 vehicles in transit to us and over 125 of those are in Missouri just waiting for a truck to drop them off at our store. We have no control over which ones they pick, but I have not ever seen the delays this bad from KC to us. They are all top priority being retail orders.

One thing that makes the TRX a little harder is the fact that only 2-3 max on a transport limits the possiblity of getting a normal load of 8 with other cars.

How about this for a plan…buy a used ram 3500 and transport trailer, haul the TRX from the Raul yard to the dealership myself, and sell the 3500 and trailer at a profit.

Get a long transport trailer and haul 3 at a time for profit before you sell...

125 sitting outside in the elements in a rail yard in Missouri for a month in the middle of winter. That sounds about right considering how the order process has gone.
For me the real kicker is that we pay $1800 extra for this "service".

So does this mean that no vehicles are moving? Has anyone has received their truck from granger in the last 3 weeks?

I got a window sticker over the weekend and am the only truck in the latest update in KZLD status:rolleyes: Not feeling good about when the truck may actually arrive based on this and the Granger PDI thread.
