DEAL $9000 off MSRP is back @ Granger Motors

Congratulations A little jealous ordered in Dec still D…
With orders coming to a stop in the next few days, that will allow older orders like yours to be picked up since there aren't any new ones clogging up the lines. Hopefully you will see D1 in the next month or so

Ok legit I already have those and the bed steps haha. I’ll be driving my 21 Rebel for trade, so I have more than enough room to pack the mudflaps….initially I wasn’t going to bring the bedsteps with me, but i read they also help with the sides in conjunction with the mudflaps.
Not sure if the studs on the rebel are the same size to reuse the spinning nuts on the trx .

If only….. we’ll go with that. Appreciate the support.

Oh no - Iet me clarify- I purchased TRX off road running boards from a forum member here so I have the nuts from the TRX. I actually had to research where the heck the bolts were until I found out they are part of the truck already. So the running boards should fit no issue- problem is that I would be driving to Iowa with them kinda sticking up in the bed (tailgate shut and Retrax pro mx tonneau cover only partially closed. Figure I’d need a towel or something to protect the top of my tailgate and some ratchet straps so they don’t shift.

you should be good..get some work wear, because you'll slide under the truck to put the boards on and you dont want to get the seats dirty 1st day...9 studs per side. Can be done by one person but is not easy to balance it . Did it twice and it's easier to put them on than take them off. I believe having boards with you is overkill. But again it's your truck, your investment. Something else to scare you,,I chipped 2 out of 3 windshields. I'd rather have a radar detector with me. There were lots of cops last time i drove. In TX and KS and not that many in OK or IA

Well it’s gonna be a bit longer drive too because I might drive straight to Chicago for the IGLA/Drone system install (5 hours past Granger). Still debating that one or going with my local installer who only does IGLA.

Honestly? While I am more than willing to put the steps on myself (I did for my Rebel and ended up weirdly using my legs to balance the steps on while installing), I’m also gonna ask them if I can pay to have them put them on (play the girl card. Shame I know) It would be easier as they are definitely heavier than my nerf bars. But yeah- I’ve got a full kit I carry with me so worse comes to worse I’ll look like an idiot in the parking lot. Haha.

Also- you know all those happy people photos of truck pick up day? Where the person looks height appropriate? Well I’m 5’3” 130lbs…..I think the hood is taller than me…. I’d be more worried about the size of the truck if I wasn’t coming from a 1500 already, it’ll just take some slight adjustment and no more chick-fil-a drive thrus. So either way- I’ll look weird haha.

I'm a privacy freak and never done any of the photos . I balanced the boards on my chest because i didnt want to scratch the car nor the steps. I'm sure they'll do the install for you if you pay them and they can do the flaps at the same time. . it's a 10 min job. Good luck with the pick up.

@Zach@Granger - I read that someone that just picked up their truck didn’t get their window sticker….it was thrown out? Is that normal or just an oversight? I for one, would like my window sticker…..we are all a little nutty bunch here I know….

This sucks big. Right along with you and @SexyTexyRexy I ordered 2 December level 2, carbon, safety geoup, etc. Truck is finally in shipping so hopefully will be able to pick up in June. Hope yours gets moving fast soon for you. The wait sucks especially seeing guys with 3xx vins progressing and complaining.

My truck just showed up this morning to dealer. How long have people been waiting before you can pick them up?

I just wanted to give a big shout out to @Zach@Granger and his team. I just took delivery of my 22 lv2 from Granger that I ordered on 10/23. It arrived in Socal by transport last night in pristine condition and looks amazing. The transaction could not have gone easier or smoother. I didn't have any of the dealer related hiccups others have posted about and communication was always timely and accurate.....at least with Granger. Ram on the other hand...their coms suck ass. Thanks Zach, the truck rocks!

It should normally be attached. Sometimes from the factory it doesn't adhere correctly to the window and can get misplaced. We can order a new one if there's a case like this and get it to you.

Appreciate the kind words.

Truck arrived a couple of hours ago and I owe Granger an apology. Truck wasn't as bad as the transport driver described. It did have a couple of chips in the paint and some minor scratches but probably happened in transit from the rail yard and not Granger's fault. The undercoating is still a little wild, but my detail guy got it off the shocks and it's not that big of deal now. Transport driver was seeing the undercoating and taking pictures loaded on the trailer and other than the overspray on the shocks you don't really notice it at ground level. My only issue with Granger is being told the truck was ready for transport up until one hour before truck arrived to pick it up and then being told they would need it a couple more days to finish installing the power running boards. Rather than have to pay a transport driver his full fee and hire another shipper I elected to just have them ship me the box with the truck and I will install them. I would have been fine with waiting until it was finished. They need to communicate a little better on the truck being finished side. I did get my window sticker but am missing my owner's manual package which they are going to send me.
At the end of the day Zach and the Granger team are giving us a heck of a deal and its worth a few glitzes to save several thousand dollars.

I’m speculating that we will get ours in june
So big thanks to @SexyTexyRexy, @H60Driver as this was in my mail today…. Coincidence? Nope…. Exciting News: Your Ram is in D1 status and has an estimated SHIPPING date of 5/31/2022!!

D1 today, I’m guessing mid-July…. 🥲
So….VERY HAPPY FOR YOU!!!! Want to make sure you set your expectations haha. I think mine shipped some time mid March and it made it to granger this earlier week… Shipping is the last of the torture phase tho….keep thinking positive and buy more stuff while you are waiting!! I had to get a temporary storage unit for my collection of stuff.
