DEAL $9000 off MSRP is back @ Granger Motors

Unfortunately Granger doesn't control what gets built and shipped :(

I work for a global Equipment Manufacturer so I get the challenges, just continues to get more frustrating when there is no rhyme or reason to the build order...

Transport was 2k truck was 81740. No tax since its going to oregon and might not even register it if I decide to sell it.
Who did you use for shipping? That's a thousand dollars less than I was quoted to central Washington.

that's why they took your SSN. You dont have to register it but they'll audit you next year and send you a bill. The titlr you get from IA is valid 15 days. it's a transit title

Got my truck delivered yesterday to my house. Very happy with Granger, no issues to speak of.
Already got an offer to sell it for 95k lol. California for ya
Congratulations! I’m in Oregon and mine is scheduled for delivery at my house Monday or Tuesday. Pretty sure I could make some good money on mine as well. However after 7 months I am pretty sure I’m going to enjoy the beast for awhile. My C8 order is held up by constants so I don’t expect to see it much before August. The TRX will be both my DD and toy for awhile.

Great to hear. My truck is supposed to be picked up by Stopwatch today. Delivered to Oregon by middle of next week. I’m hoping for a similar experience.
Where in Oregon? I'm in the same boat. Truck should be picked up Monday & delivered Wednesday.

Interesting. My assumption was if you buy a vehicle and don't register it you don't pay taxes.
You don't get a certificate of title when you buy from Granger? never heard of a transit title

You don’t get a title until you register it with your state. If you’re going to flip it without registering it you have to make sure the dealership gives you the MCO/MSO so you can then give it to the next buyer. Still technically owe taxes on any gains made off the sale though.

you get a full transit title, valid for 15 days from Granger..this is how IA does it.
You dont get the certificate or MSO..it's an IA thing
that's why many have issues when registering it in their states and MVD employees believe it's a used car seeing the transit title

here you go

It's capital gains if you end up with a car.. like stocks , if you reinvest everything you dont pay taxes
EX buy can 1 and sell, soon after buy car 2 and sell, soon after buy car 3 and keep , all done same year you dont pay tax because you have a car number 3 in your possesion. If you sell car 3 and dont buy a var 4 you pay tax , if you sell and dont make profit you dont...this is how it was explained to me

Makes sense now! The transit title should be good enough for me to register in MA since I can prove ownership.
Not planning to flip but good info to know.

@Classicdrive - you seem knowledgeable….am I correct in thinking I’m getting away unscathed with tolls on my trip back home because I don’t have tags on my front or back? The transit tag from granger has a big D7 on it and it’s in my back window. Haha. Which I don’t think they can do anything wi the on the cameras…..

Of course where there is only drive thru cash booths - I gotta pay- but now most everything is drive thru photo
