DEAL $9000 off MSRP is back @ Granger Motors

This is a volume dealer. They make a little off selling lots of vehicles. I’m on the West Coast where you can’t get one for MSRP. I have purchased my Raptors through volume dealers as well. Paid invoice for my last one plus free courtesy delivery. If you want to save money and you are willing to wait this is the best route.
Had a Dodge Superstore dealer somewhat local to me wanting to charge over MSRP on my order and charge me for them to purchase an allocation from another dealer if I placed an order.

Ridiculous. I don’t play those games.

@Zach@Granger - just got an email back from your team. Looks like orders are taking 6-8 months. I don't mind waiting, but... wanted to confirm if production stops on the 22s, will my order will be switched over to a 23. Same pricing?

For you Texas folks who bought from Granger, can y'all remind me what I need to to take with me to register the vehicle and pay my taxes? i know I'm going to forget something and have to go back and wait in line again...

Sorry for the off topic question but I know someone here has the answer!
Go get an inspection done first thing. Granger will provide you with all the paperwork and of course get ready to pay the sales tax on the TRX. I shoulda rolled it into the purchase 🤦‍♂️. I had zero issues except for not having the inspection done first.

Glad to see you all had a smooth transition. Colorado tried to say my TRX was used because Granger registered it with with an Iowa in transit title. I had to do a weight slip and vin Verification as if it was a used vehicle coming from out of state. After 30 minutes of arguing the processed the paperwork as a new sale, included the letter from granger that said it was sold as “new,” and told me it would get rejected by the auditors and I would have to come back in…plates came and no issues. Pisses me off the DMV doesn’t know wth they are doing even when it is in black and white on their website.

DMV should be automated bc of the absolute shit attitudes and refusal of the employees to do their job. Not all DMV’s or employees are like this but out of 4 states I’ve lived in I’ve only found two places I could go without it being a bullshit hassle. Pro tip: Don’t go to the ghetto ass ones. Drive to the decent part of town.

Ram into something similar here in NM.. went to a different location and no issues. Got my title a week later in the mail.

Some feedback on @Zach@Granger (tagging for dealership, not Zach as I haven't heard from him)

My transporter and good friend of mine picked up my TRX from Granger today. My truck was at the end with other TRX brethren awaiting delivery.

When he did the walk around he found some interesting scratches and other issues.

We think it was from this "protective" sheet flapping in the wind. It scratched the tail light plastic and paint on both sides.

Then he found this bolt in my tire which he had to basically beg the service dept to check and pull (it didn't go through) They wanted him to wait, saying they had customers waiting in service.............ummm WTF am I???

7pBJui.jpg

All this to say I emailed Amanda and the main Granger email and have received no reply. No apology for delivering a damaged vehicle, no help with the tire, nothing. Just crickets. We received a discount on the truck so I assume that comes with a discount in the customer service area as well. They had called me twice days before asking for 10's on the online survey, saying they get in "trouble" if they don't get 10's. So against my better judgement I did this BEFORE taking delivery and that was a mistake. If they fail to own up to the niggles I'll be calling RAM and explain what happened along with the pressured survey tactics. The dates won't match up to the survey and pickup date when damage was found proving my point. I'm done giving companies an inch, they always take a mile. We aren't talking major damage here, but if my detail guy charges me to fix it, I'll be sending granger the bill. I don't see them owning up to it or any of the other trucks there so I'll just let RAM in on the survey BS.

In short, check your shit before you do the survey. He said every truck on that line had damage. - Adam

So they are essentially delivering your truck with that easy to see damage? Hope they were more conscientious with the parts of the PDI that you couldn't see/check.

Looks like my truck less the screw in the tire (I think). Lots of protective sheet residue, dirt, swirl marks and other fine scratches. I balanced my anger with the cost savings knowing it was going to be detailed anyways before the PPF and ceramic install…However they should slow the fuck down and take better care of these trucks and customers at delivery. I don’t think correcting what you pointed out in your pictures is too much to ask even if you are buying a $20k Kia. I am sure Ram would not appreciate the delivery quality that has been demonstrated time and time again.

They didn't get all the blue sticker off the supercharger either. Needless to say they just ripped the plastic sheets off and parked it. They didn't do a PDI, even though they said they did. So now I have to waste a day crawling over the truck checking bolts, fuses etc because they didn't do it.

Another one that got picked up this weekend had A LOT of scratches on it (a bunch between the cab and bed which I don't see how they got there). Loose stitching as well.

Mine is there and I opted for them not to wash the exterior at all, but I bet the scratches are already there.

This certainly has been an issue with scratches, etc. The nail is a first that we've seen. We're working on a plan to go over these vehicles more thoroughly before the get out. The technician that performs the PDI doesn't check for cosmetic issues, but rather just mechanical. We're not having these issues on vehicles delivered to us that aren't TRXs.

Certainly frustrating and we want to make sure it leaves here in good condition. The manufacturer should be responsible for delivering the vehicle to us in new condition, that isn't happening. But Ultimately it's our responsibility to deliver the truck to the end user in perfect condition. We fell short on this.

@Zach@Granger I'm wondering about this as well, having received the same email.

What is being done to correct the issues on the trucks?
