HOT! 2027 RAM TRX is Back as the Fastest and Most Powerful Production Gas Pickup Truck in the World

I prefer the mechanical look of the analog gauges. I’ve also seen where a few of the all digital gauges go black. If the digital part of my cluster goes henshit, at least I still have mechanical gauges to know my speed.
There's currently a recall for the 2025-2026 models because of the digital dash going blank.

I personally love the 23-24 digital cluster. Not sure why some people like the analog version more, but to each their own.
Have both and love the analog way more. Feels more genuine & authentic than a big screen. Like comparing the look of a G-shock vs. an apple watch

This happened before on my 19 Bullitt. Only once but was quite weird driving down the rd and having a blank screen for about 30 seconds.

What kind of amateur leaves the wheels turned when parked?
When parallel parking on a hill, isn't it best practice to point the wheels towards the curb?

Why no 37 inch tires? I hope the new TRX can keep up with the Raptor R on 37s. Wish they updated the looks and made 37s standard. Pumped for the power bump but wanted more styling and suspension update.

100% agree! Also an optional upgraded suspension offering (akin to what FOX had for the Raptor). More aggressive fender flares too and modular bumpers for easily mounting lights/etc. Ability to run in 2wd without issues to a complimentary invite/training (like the excellent Raptor Assault Course I attended years ago).

The proven playbook seems there but just seemed a 'power appeasement' rather than evolution <- just like the Raptor R release to the TTV6!

Of course the counter is - they no doubt did the analytics/feedback and internal costs of other mods against profit margin/actual customer appeal.. VS. trying to make a true HALO offering. IMO - the best aftermarket is stuff that is built/appears and integrates as 'factory'.

At the very least a one-stop under factory warranty HALO source for the TRX - alike AMG to Mercedes perhaps with designated badging/graphics too -> Example: www.UpFitUTV.com (owned by FOX) is located near me - they build turn-key RZRs/etc. from drop shipped crates/endorsement from Polaris (not sourced from their local dealership). Although the price point $75k-ish may seem high - they can be financed/recognized as a actual model (like SHELBY/FOX editions) and the mods are 'done fight' (IMO - akin to a production vehicle vs. atypical bolt-on bonanzas that don't even appear unique - just 'rinse and repeat'). Having a couple 'built' UTVs in the past - the $75k figure seems daunting at first but comically when one adds up aftermarket mods/labor/even frustrations related some become don't always work 'together' as well, the resale after all these efforts is often mute in comparison to $$$ outlay. AEV is a great example too (I've been involved with them since 06 (HEMI conversion in LJ), then three later models including a BRUTE.

I think there IS a small but committed market of TRX owners, even potential Raptor converts that would have jumped at a $150k HALO model that is a significant performance, appearance and comparative EVOLUTION! 🦖

Why people want 2wd is beyond me, you can’t put the power down from a dig, look at a hellcat challenger or charger. What’s the old saying spinning ain’t winning. Awd is key for these trucks. Yes, burnouts are cool but would rather be able to leave from a dig full throttle without pedaling it or starting in second (yes, some say starting a hellcat charger or challenger in second gear eliminates “some” spin).

The brilliance of the AWD system in the TRX makes it so anybody can safely drive the truck. The throttle response is predictable (especially in street mode), and the truck can just function as a regular truck. Yet when you want to, you ca be 12 years old and rip off a sub 4 second sprint to 60mph. The extra 75hp is just turning the volume up to 10!

I sold my Challenger Hellcat because of this. I'm from the old school when all's we had were 2wd but these thing are uncontrollable and dangerous in street trim. From digs I could burn the rear tires off in no time. And you still had to be careful up to ~70 since the rear would still easily break free if you nailed it on a pass. But it's a relatively cheap way to have 200+mph car.

Agreed, back wheel drive back in the day (old school) was 200-300 hp not 700+. Too much hp is fun back with back wheel drive but definitely dangerous. I would rather smash the pedal and go, pedaling is dicey, especially if you don’t know the car.
