HOT! 2027 RAM TRX is Back as the Fastest and Most Powerful Production Gas Pickup Truck in the World

Why people want 2wd is beyond me, you can’t put the power down from a dig, look at a hellcat challenger or charger. What’s the old saying spinning ain’t winning. Awd is key for these trucks. Yes, burnouts are cool but would rather be able to leave from a dig full throttle without pedaling it or starting in second (yes, some say starting a hellcat charger or challenger in second gear eliminates “some” spin).
I only drive my X3 in 2wd. We drift it around the corners - it's so much fun. I would definitely F around with the Rex in 2wd if it wasn't the forbidden fruit. We did take it out in 2wd after a rain storm and man it was fun sliding around all morning 😂

Haha. I think you know what I mean. That kind of peddling is super dangerous especially if I find them at my house… the assault shotgun is coming out.

I bet your HOA prohibits peddling.

Exactly. 2WD should still be available in the "Men's Department" :) instead of holding down the traction control for seconds after daily Baja mode activation for more playful driving.

Default AWD is numbing at times...like driving a Telsa in FSD, always using ChatGPT for written content and procreation without many bouts of recreation.:ROFLMAO:

What kind of amateur leaves the wheels turned when parked?
Occasionally when I pull the truck out of the shop and park it on my back patio, I have left the wheels turned when shutting off the truck

When do orders open?

Hopefully guides come out pretty soon so we can get our act together. If production is to really begin on 8/3, orders should start early June. Seems to kind of line up with previous years. Give or take a few weeks.

This can't be accurate as I am seeing consistent 3.5 sec 0-60 times in my 2021 with BWoody intake, pedal commander, QTP exhaust cutouts open and FAS Predator lower pulley (flickering 13-14psi) on 93 octane with Vossen 20" wheels and 35" Nitto tires.....I believe I was seeing 3.8-3.9 when the truck was bone stock on stock wheels.....they definitely put out conservative 0-60 times on the gen 1
I have a very similar setup. This is Stock tune to get 3.5 0-60. As tempting as the new TRX is was hoping for more power out of the box 3.92 gears 37’s. Owned my 22 since new and modded it after 1 yr of ownership. Zero issues.

Push button sound is now fixed on the website
At least they got that fixed…

The real question is when will Ram fix the UConnect 5 issues current TRX owners are having. Ram wants you to spend $100,000 on a new truck, but they won’t fix the system in your current truck that they broke with bad over the air updates? That just doesn’t sit right with me!

I’ve found holding the traction control for ten seconds it says it’s off but the stability control still seems to be on. If you do it with the Baja mode is it 100% off and it will let us play with no intervention?
