HOT! 2027 RAM TRX is Back as the Fastest and Most Powerful Production Gas Pickup Truck in the World

😃 guilty as charged, 🤔 hmmmmm, no response... either they can't argue the facts or they old fan mans and went to bed.. 🤣
Well, there were some interesting comments, and possible new RAM customers, including me... not going to give the Ford stealer an extra $20K to order a new RR!

From what I was shown earlier on the dealer ordering system, there are already hooks in the system that state red interior accents are "standard" on the SRT TRX. So it doesn't appear that there's currently an option to delete them.
It might be a new business model. Give us every option then make us pay to "downgrade" the stuff we don't want. So if you want a base trx you are looking at about $150k. #girlmath

I’d like to say I’m retiring from this, but I know I can’t/won’t now that the TRX is coming back.
EDIT: I’ve been running daily reports on the RHO forum and it’s just so damn exhausting.
Thank you in advance!

Perhaps you can prompt an agent to do it and auto post?

Or, perhaps just every other day? (Combine scans) I don't know the intricacies, just thinking out loud.

That would really make it a narrow choice on exterior colors for most I bet. Hard to imagine a green, blue, silver or orange truck with a red interior…….

I don't think the interior will be an issue. Both my 22/23 TRX (White/Blue) had red accents inside (Level II, not the base red). Looked really nice.

Now, red emblems with some of the paint colors might be another matter. Especially Serrano, Spitfire and Molten. Serrano may look great...but two different reds on the exterior? Perhaps not. Manufacturers are pretty sensitive that this kind of thing, so I would bet they have a plan for the exterior potential color clash.

The interior will be fine. Just my opinion.

Hold on - the Bloodshot edition can come in any color? He shows that in the video. Still not sure if I like all those graphics, but a two tone in green might be interesting. Based on the roof being painted by a vendor, that package might be pretty expensive.
I found that Interesting as well. I was thinking maybe Ram did still have the knowledge or capability to do those classic two tone color schemes .

I guess not, if that report pans out to be true that they have to outsource the two tone paint work to a third party. :(Lol

Wow. Those are sweet!

We should know soon...
Yea, I sort of dig the old retro two tone paint scheme's, couldn’t care less about the sticker graphics .

I know it’s a Chevy , but I really loved seeing these retro style wrapped trucks that were a modern take on the old square body big 10 chevys. Sort of like seeing that sort of thing coming back at least in some respects with the new TRX bloodshot .

Yeah, those are cool. I had a C10 back in the day I restored. Blue/Gray scheme. I was sneezing blue paint for months - masks were not all that great back then (90s).

As a 2021 owner I feel like the steering wheel without the suede is kind of a downgrade. It sounds silly, but I like how it feels!

Honestly I had always hated having Alcanterra on the steering wheel of my 21.
I am actually happy to see it gone. Lol
I do like that they leather wrapped the horn button, that’s a nice touch.

Agree 100%

Would have been cool if they put SRT on the horn instead of the RAM logo, and while we’re at it, a red stripe at the top/center of the wheel like Raptors used to have. That would be a cool steering wheel.

I also dislike the suede on my steering wheel. I want soft leather, and I also want the shape of the wheel to be rounder. I'm not talking about the flat bottom, I'm talking about the rim itself, which is oblong shaped between 10 and 2. I drive with my palm and prefer to have more surface area when turning.

The suede on the dashboard and center console are also dirt/dust traps. Can't wipe them clean, can only vacuum.

I think they are taking feedback and some of these types of things will be different on the production models. They've got a few months before order guides need to hit. I bet some of the aesthetic things will be changed. For example, the exterior red accents. You really cannot have red accents and Spitfire or Molten paint. We shall see.
