HOT! 2027 RAM TRX is Back as the Fastest and Most Powerful Production Gas Pickup Truck in the World

I’ve found holding the traction control Shay’s it shuts it off but the stability control is still there? If you do it with the Baja mode is it 100% no hold back BS and let’s us play?
hold down traction button for 10 seconds will shut everything off. I'm running a bit north of 800whp but in sport everything off it will drift around like 2wd.

Were you drunk when you typed this? I've read it 5 times and still can't figure out what the hell you're trying to say. 😵‍💫

Edit: I get it. Remove the "Shay's it"??

Haha sorry guys. Didn’t have my glasses on and I couldn’t see shit. lol
I’ve held the traction control button in so it says it’s off however it seems that the stability controls still intervenes.

out of curiosity, did you have the stability control update on your truck? i have not and does turn everything off.

To be honest I don’t know what the update is. I never downloaded anything unless it’s automatically done.

I tried it again yesterday and it now works. Shuts everything off and all the bells and whistles are going off. Let’s you slide and play, however the only way to turn it all back on is to restart the truck. It also feels like it’s in 2 wheel drive like if I forced it with my tazer

Yeah. That’s technically true, on really steep hills, but in reality, most parking spots are on flat ground.
I virtually never am parked in a place this steep either. I'm trying to remember from driver's ed class which way you're supposed to turn the wheels in regards to the slope.

Curb on passenger side, turn tires to the right if sloped facing downward. But if facing uphill, I think you're supposed to turn to the left, which infers that if the truck begins to roll, the front passenger tire bumps up against the curb to 'stop' it from rolling. But if the tire easily goes up over the curb and it rolls, its going to roll out into the roadway. If the tires are turned the other way, the curb stop factor is eliminated, but if the truck rolls, it'll roll towards the sidewalk instead.

So, clearly there needs to be a chart made that measures tire size of the vehicle in relation to the curb height and it tells you which way to turn your tires if parked on a steep slope.

But then again, I probably haven't parked on a steep slope in 10+ years, so who cares LOL.

Just an FYI, you turn the wheels to the right no matter if you're parked facing up or down hill.

The interwebs disagrees:
  • Downhill: Turn your front wheels toward the curb(right). Let the car roll until the front tire gently touches the curb.
  • Uphill: Turn your front wheels away from the curb(left). Let the car roll back slightly until the rear of the front tire touches the curb.

When do you all think we will get more details on what they changed for the engine of the SRT TRX? I am hopeful they did more than just put daemon heads on it and call it a day.

That sounds like that’s exactly what they did. And a better intake.

If you do this and the parking brake fails, the back end of the vehicle will roll out into traffic... 😒

The Car & Driver article claimed they used parts from Direct Connection. They sell a 3.17 pulley, which in addition to the other changes would probably get it to the power they are claiming.

yeah i read that as well. Hoping they did a little more than that but either way have one on order and looking forward to a new one! Hope my ID1300 injectors could be a direct swap, if not not end of the world.

Has anyone cracked the 2025+ PCMs yet? Haven’t seen anything and that would be the bigger holdup…
