2024 RAM 1500 TRX Final Edition

Not excited about the new colors. I like the red stitching better. don't like the power steps because they do nothing for paint protection. really not feeling like I'm missing out on anything.
But they’re really cool, which is what’s most important. Get some weathertech mudflaps.

I always see these statements that the top speed is 118mph. I think that is misleading or my truck is an anomaly because the highest mine will reach is 117mph. Does anyone else notice this or have this issue. It is not a huge problem or anything but I do believe manufacturers should be truthful in their advertisements.

I'm already having visions of my "converted from a 2023 order" 2024 being converted to a 2025 Hurricane if they don't hurry up building TRXs.
No I don’t think they will do that unless there is a drastic price drop! 702HP to 512 HP for the same price? If so they definitely fell and bumped their head!!!!!

So disappointing to see this truck get the heave-ho. I've owned two now and can't think of another truck to consider other than a Final Edition. The ADM is my cross to bear. I'm not on board with it, so I may have to forego and keep my '23. It'll be my red Barchetta (Rush fans will understand).

I have hit the gov a hundred plus times. Sometimes it gets to 118, other times 117. If there is a tiny grade incline, it’s usually 117. It should be governed by tire revolutions and not digital display MPH. There’s probably a margin of error with the velocity displayed that comes into play over 100 mph. Big soft tires make for more margin than cars with skinny rubber-band tires.

My first gov hits were all heading home on a slight incline, only hit 117 the first times. Never thought to complain about it.
117 most often.... also why I stick with the OEM tires, propensity for rural brisk driving!

Well a Raptor with 37" package is 85k
Fucking hell.
It seems like these trucks are trying to grab more and more margin for the manufacturer while interest rates are starting to soar.

I'm just not interested. But that 2025 needs to start under 70k IMO but I don't think it will. And I think it will flop because of it.
It won’t as a level 2 dt 1500 and 20” rims and parktronics is around 68k

Absolutely, manufacturers are growing their margin. They are squeezing dealer margins, which is causing a lot more dealers than normal to ADM vehicles. It's every industry right now. Middlemen are getting squeezed. It's the new business model. Eliminate the mushy middle and keep more of the profits.

Before anyone says "yeah that's great". When your car gets delivered from dot-com, who you going to get angry at when it's defective??? At least with a dealer there is the basic level of accountability (Like I'm going to kick your ass up and down this parking lot accountability). Soon there will be no ass to kick and only an AI chat bot with pre-programmed answers that ensure you get Fckd every time.

Any info on these paints... looks like Delmonico has the most info out there, and is more of a dark metallic ruby color?

I can't find much on the other 2 using google???

Jay
Delmonico is the same paint code as Octane Red for the cars

There's a bazillion pictures of Delmonico trucks out on the web. Here's one from the 5th Gen forum.

Eh, I already have an octane REWB. Think I prefer my lunar.

My 19' Longhorn was Delmonico Red, an awesome color!

F these bastards. Stellantis Mopar taking us for another ride like they did with Challenger. I love, love my ‘21 TRX, but I’ll be damned if I’m going to buy another Mopar. They can take their I6 and EVs and stick them right up their asses.

The alternative is what? Everyone is moving this direction. At least we got a few great (albeit overpriced) v8's before they cut the production lines.

I’m ok with the Hurricane and the EV as a choice. It’s that it’s being forced on people is the problem I have.

My 2021 is going to be around a damn long time. Getting this truck at $6,000 off sticker made it an affordable option. $115,000 or so for a “Special Edition Last Call” is an insult.
