2022 Ram TRX latest info

Okay, fine, blame the dealers if it makes you feel better. Still, nobody is forced to pay ADM, it's completely by choice.

Being somewhat familiar with the buying process, I chose to pay well under MSRP instead. Could I turn around and sell it at a profit, then order a new one? Sure, but only if my dealer is on board with it.
Actually, even if they said to go ahead, I still wouldn't play those games.

Flow-through vents on the rear flares? Seems very impractical for an offroad-capable vehicle.

One could say the same about the front flow thru vents on the front flares. Anything is possible. I was talking to an employee and they was talking about the TRX "bad aero dynamics," which is why brought it up

Were the destroyer gray and/or orange color confirmed as available for 2022?

True, but the rears would be more apt to eat whatever is thrown off the front tires. Though I suppose if you're following someone offroad, the same would apply to the front vents.

Dunno. I'm not an engineer. I'll push the "I Believe" button!

Umm I am pretty sure I said no one is forced to pay anything they choose to pay because they want the car or the profit. Blaming the dealers does not make me feel better it’s sad and obviously your not seeing the point in the whole post. Dealers should make money but not at the expense of the customer and being greedy. Ram doesn’t see that money only the dealership does and since I am not somewhat familiar with purchasing a car and I do completely understand the ins and outs of car buying I know exactly how deals work before the whole pandemic and how it works now. There are some changes but nothing major besides adding whatever extra you want to the price of the vehicle. Before my charger I bought a jeep and there are rarely any discounts but guess what I walked out the door way under sticker. I don’t need to feel better about anything I just want to purchase a Trx at a reasonable price and there is nothing wrong with that. Like I said at MSRP everyone still wins.

Did you hear destroyer gray for 2022? I keep hearing orange I never heard destroyer gray. Murphy’s law is I will order and boom the new colors will come out 😡and it will be something I want and I won’t be able to change it.

Dealers should make money but not at the expense of the customer...
In a normal business model, the customer is exactly where a dealer would and should make money.
Then there's the simple supply and demand factor, making people pay more than usual. In this case voluntarily, since unlike food and such, nobody needs TRX.

Either way, I don't see paying MSRP as an "everybody still wins". If so, I should've insisted on paying some $8K more than I did.

How can you say in one sentence how when jeeps were still in high demand you managed to buy one for way under sticker, then in the next sentence say MSRP for everyone should be how it goes? Do you not see that you can't expect dealers to sell them at a steep discount from MSRP, and then not also charge a premium when the market will support it? I've got no issues with dealers charging whatever they want. If you are a good negotiator, and have control of your own spending habits, you are better off with it being free market than if it was just straight fixed pricing for everyone. You don't get to have it both ways.

Sorry but maybe what I am saying is not coming across right. I never said Msrp is the way it should go. The reason I can say I bought way under sticker is that was way before the pandemic. I bought at the end of the year and all they cared about was the next years bonus same with my charger. Lots of things have changed since 2013 when I bought my jeep or 2018 when I bought my charger. Now after the pandemic dealers supply and demand makes a difference. Yes I do see they can not sell at a steep discount that’s why I stated Msrp everyone wins. Not everyone knows how to negotiate or have the time or patience to do so. I also never said that’s the way it should go because it’s not. $7k should be more than enough profit there is no need to add $10k+ to the price. I have never paid Msrp for any car and I don’t ever plan on paying Msrp. If you read the post I wrote some time ago I said I would rather wait. Meaning anything over MSRP is being greedy with the supply and demand factor hold backs ect. Those discounts are still there and the dealership wants more. I think I am being misunderstood. Plus my post is broken up in a million different post so it does not make sense to what I am getting at. I have great spending habits and I am also a good negotiator I have not purchased yet I am still waiting on colors to drop and then I will purchase. The only thing I want fixed is my APR not the market.

Can you guys argue about dealer practices in another thread? I keep seeing notifications on this thread, hoping to find new information and all it is is this stupid argument. This horse has been beaten into dirt already.

I was just starting to think...it's happening...this place is starting to sound like raptorforum!...lol:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::LOL:

Just saw the 22 10th anniversary limited is going to have suede headliner. Anyone think this might be an option for the TRX in 22?

@KnightMare has a good video of all of the available options on YouTube. That’s not one of them. The only change from 21’ seems to be Uconnect 5 and a bright pedal kit.

It’s free market economics. The same people complaining about ADM and dealer markup aren’t complaining if that dealer is paying 20-30% more on a used trade than they would 6 months ago. Demand is driving prices and dealers do this because people will pay. If you want regulated prices there’s always socialism but the. We wouldn’t have the TRX or any ew tech to be arguing over. It’s amazing that so many who can afford a $100k pickup truck can’t understand basic economics.

I would say no historically if there’s an anniversary edition those special tweaks are only available on that specific vehicle take the 75th anniversary power wagon for example a whole pile of those options were only available on that edition for that year, now for this year they did carry some of those options to the power wagon because it was so popular so if it’s a big seller they may offer it in other trucks for 23

Price went up just over $800. Biggest difference for me was for a 21, dealer was steadfast on ordering for MSRP and saying that was a great deal. Ordering a 22, and he was more than happy to match the $5k below msrp offer from granger.
I'm in Ohio too. Mind sharing who the dealer is? PM if you can. Thanks!
